Curry was an incoherent, unreadable contributor to this forum. You are a readable contributer.

I think (if I'm remembering the correct user) Curry was kicked off the site by the admins. It would be a hell of a battle though.

About Curry? What I do not know will not hurt me? I recall someone being booted by the Administrators but I never bothered to read his or her posts that I can recall.

I obviously came after Curry but from comments I gather he was not only unreadable and incoherent but rude and vicious. How does that rate as a "contributor?" As was said, Tal is readable, mainly coherent and has some fun polls. Glad we have Tal and Curry is gone, methinks!

TOTV does not need "rude and vicious" posters. There seem to be a lot of message boards on the Internet one can go to if you're into this kind of free-for-all.

Used to read Curry's comments on another web site. Didn't realize he/she was booted off this one.

I thought the comments were not only rudely funny,(didn't take them serious) but this person either couldn't spell or type! Half the time you didn't know what he/she was talking about!!!

Karguy, I'm surprised at the shot you took at Taltarzac. Curry was either incoherent or he played the part well. If I was Taltarzac, I'd be pretty p***ed at you. Cheap shot. Kind of sad that this board has members who resort to such antics.

I recall posts like that on TOTV a few months back but could not figure out what he/she was trying to say most of the time so I stopped reading these posts.

I do not get mad very much any more from what I see on the Internet even though TOTV is one of the boards with the nicest posters by in large. You have to take a lot of it with a grain of salt or maybe a whole salt shaker in some cases. ;D

TAL is entertaining. Albeit LONGWINDED at times. Freedom of speech is okay with me. Uh as long as Handie doesn't get elected for Topicop. I'd prefer someone like Paula Dean.

I agree that I can be longwinded at times. Freedom of speech can go too far in some instances especially on anonymous message boards. The TOTV administrators seem to do a very good job :bigthumbsup: keeping personal slurs on TOTV to a minimum. As a contrast, I had a very hard time for more than four years 2002-2006 while posting on at least one other rather well known message board-- in legal circles anyway-- with a poster who would often get obscene with his attacks and unfortunately who was also a contributing factor in a young mentally ill TN woman's suicide around December 26, 2003. Have not seen that often obscene poster on this other message board post for well over a year.

What I am trying to say in my longwinded manner is that actions-- even on message boards-- have consequences. Of course, I hope people on TOTV do not treat stuff as seriously as some on legal message boards.

Off topic again: Golfnut, you are right, the "correct" expression is : Putting a fox in charge of the hen house. However in bad boy Handie's case, I have a feeling he would act much more like a rooster in a hen house than a fox, if you get the drift. :yikes:

I am not sure how the posters are set up on TOTV. :dontknow: The approximately 4 year pest (Internet troll) I had on the legal message boards had one to three names he used to be a decent sort and probably 100+ with which to be a real schmuck. These often had close approximations of my own on those legal message boards. Does TOTV require real e-mail addresses for people to create names? The legal message board never required real e-mail addresses to register for a name. This guy was also often vicious, funny, libelous, crude, two-faced and extremely cruel in his posts. Often entertaining though if you like WWE wrestling kind of entertainment.

Kerry could be Curry. They come back. They also show up on a lot of different message boards. They also often have a record of being kicked off of many other message boards on the Internet. I am NOT saying that Curry is anything like the man on the legal message board who was so vicious for such extended periods of time.

What I am trying to say is that I had a four year face off with someone on another message board system and do not feel like going through that Internet hell again.
