We or I would like to find a group to play friendly games of Euchre. Does anyone else play or want to play?

WE LOVE to play Euchre. I SEE that you too are from Ohio.

Euchre is our favorite game. Let us know where and when.

Tom & I love playing Euchre. When we were younger we use to host many Euchre tournaments with family & friends in our basement. We haven't played in years and look forward to playing when we arrive.

Me too. I played euchre once. It was kinda like bridge. I would love to join a beginner's group.

I misspent many hours in college playing Euchre. <smile> I'd love to get together for a friendly game (it has been, lets say, a while since I last played so I'm a bit rusty).

What kind of game is this?

It's a card game with some similarities to bridge. You have a partner, and you bid.

Five cards with the jacks changing power according to trump.


There is no clothes removal or drinking shots.;)


Unless that is local rules.


On a more real, not kidding note. I wonder if we could have a TOTV Euchre group monthly at one of the rec centers???

We used to play Euchre when we lived in Illinois....I think my hubby Chuck would play. Just put a time and place on the forum, or pm me. It would be fun to get a regular game going.

The Eucher clubs are quite big so we would rather play with just a few people in homes. Are you interested? We're here for the winter from Indiana.

I know we are interested.

We just moved here full time in January. We would like to play. In folks homes would be good or I thought we could meet at a pool. I talked to my mom this afternoon, she has several card groups she belongs to....she said 2 or three tables at the house works very well.

When we play in Indiana we have three tables with four people at each table and it works very well.

As a kid I can remember my parents playing that card game... knocking on the table and all. No idea what it is all about.

I'd love to play and believe my wife would also. Please keep me in the loop if some plans are made!!!

We love playing Euchre. Must be more of a Midwest game.
I typically " lose my shirt in poker" so nice there is no clothes removal. But c'mon; no Fireball shots for going alone and making it?

:wave: Euchre tonight? do we have 2 tables? also, if it doesn't work out tonight, they have started a Euchre group at Eisenhower Rec center....not sure of the day and time......anyone else know?

Have fun playing Euchre and don't get euchred! This is killing me knowing you all are down there having fun playing my favorite card game. It won't be long and we can play too!
