Hooks & Needles - New Craft Group - WE HAVE BEEN APPROVED AS A CLUB OF THE VILLAGES
 
I'm pleased to say that this group has been approved as a club of The Villages. We will be meeting on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month at Big Cypress in Pinellas from 10 to 12. Our first meeting will be April 15th. Looking forward to meeting you all and learning from each other. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Diane - Congrats! Great legwork! May I suggest that you P.M. any responders who wish to offer instruction/assistance to newbie hookers and needlers that they select a beginner project such as a scarf or stitch practice piece, either 3 ply/4 ply yarn and a specific needle/hook; and then let those newbies bring the materials to the meeting? Copies of an instruction sheet for the basics and beginning level stitches for knitting/crocheting would prob be helpful, too, if anyone can make them available to the newbies.

You are a tad ahead of me. I thought of pm's but have not gotten the chance to send out yet. I plan on sending memo's this week. Thanks for your good thoughts.
