No kidding! |

Can boxers swim? I know one that ran off a dock and sank like a stone! (Was rescued.) |

Emma, moreso than most in her breed, has an extremely deep, thin chest, that IMO gives her a propensity to hold air in a way that would flip her. So she has a flotation device, but we haven't worked out the anxiety stuff yet. I have some frozen liver for rewards if you wanna try doggie in the pool swim training. or we could just let them enjoy each other. Sounds like fun just to have you two over... Kitty/Emma |

Kitty - does Emma like to fetch a ball? My Aussie would jump in a vat of oil if I threw the ball that way. He learned to swim very quickly and loves it. On the other hand, my Standard Poodle, supposed to be a water dog, wants no part of it. He fell in a lake
at a very young age and I believe it traumatized him. Such great exercise for them. |

Where is doggie Do Do Run located? As you can tell, I am new to TV. I have a little Jack Russell named Jack. Thanks!

This is absolutely the CUTEST!!!!! I love that bone shaped pool. And Cros looks so comfy in it. I can't wait to see it in person.
Good luck with his surgery and hope he feels back to his old perky self soon. |
That is such a great photo CF....thanks for posting. Made me smile bigtime.

Where do you live? We are down around 466A, but it is worth the trip. About 20 minutes from our southern digs. |
That picture is a Kodak moment! Cute.

Take CR 466 going toward CR 301. Pass Bob Evans. Before you get to Bealls & The Villages School ... There is a street called CR 101 between the Publix Plaza (Southern Trace) and the Bonefish/CVS Plaza. CR 101 runs North off CR 466. Go north on CR 101 about a mile, and DDRR is on the right hand side. (South of CR 466, CR 101 is called Belvedere Boulevard). A visit is $3 per dog, or $25 per month. Only dogs that are spayed or neutered are permitted. Your dog must get along well with other dogs. We pay monthly for our two dogs and it's $30 per month. What a bargain. And they pick up the dog poop (you mark it with a flag)! To join, you need to provide proof of rabies vaccination. It's a large Dog park and many great people take their dogs there. Biggins and Lollipop love it there. They are so depressed when we return to Canada, because nothing compares to DDRR. P.S. There is a jack Russell that goes to DDRR. He has a black circle around one eye. His name is One-eyed Jack P.P.S. Our Portuguese Water Dog hates water. |

My old dog who would have turned 12 on May 24-- Sport-- loved Doggie Doo Run Run. I walked the same walk around DDRR after we put him down due to his fourth heart seizure and collapse on April 7, 2014. He had fallen from the 3rd attack on the night of April 6, 2014. Beau is following in Sport's paw prints even if he is half Sport's size. Sport and Beau are both Chihuahua/terrier mixes with huge hearts. |
Here's a way to get there from the 466A area:
Go north on Buena Vista till you see the sign for Belvedere. Take the roundabout three-fourths of the way around to Belvedere (use the inside lane to do this). Follow Belvedere all the way to 466. Cross over 466 (Belvedere becomes CR 101) and go about a mile. Pass a big red For Sale sign. Doggie Doo Run Run will be a little ways farther on your right. Just put a copy of your pup's vac. record and $3 on the sign-in sheet or in the box if it's there. They will keep the vac. record. Call them if you want to pay monthly. |
