I found Steve's painting business mentioned on another post on "Talk of the Villages" where he received high ratings for his work. Steve and his hard working crew just finished painting my home and it looks like new. They were professional, cleaned up everything and walked me around the house to inspect the work. There wasn't one thing that needed to be addressed. Today, a Sherwin Williams representative came out with Steve and inspected the work then sat down with me to explain the 25 year warranty. I'm now going to have Steve paint the driveway. I highly recommend him and you won't be disappointed with his work or his pricing.

He is painting my house as I write. Crew is great. Sherwin Williams rep just stopped by to say hello and will be back tomorrow to inspect.

Steve's company painted the exterior of my house just a few days ago. These guys really did a superb job, their price was competitive and I would recommend them highly.

One thing I noted in particular ... they "slathered" the paint on thick and atop the base coat. I liked that because it weatherproofs the exterior about as well as it can be done. :)

Steve Kling and his crew recently painted our house and the floor of a large lanai. We wanted to completely change the color scheme of the house, band, front door and lanai but were concerned about us picking the colors. Well, Steve is an expert in this area too, he selected all the colors for all elements of the job and the place looks beautiful. He even suggested new lights for the garage, which we bought and installed - a great finishing touch. Some details of the job - heavy coats of primer and paint, 25 yr warranty by Sherwin Williams, caulking of all outlets and windows, etc., etc. We can't say enough good things about the job, the crew, Steve and the value for the price. We are now going to have him paint the driveway and walk.

Steve and his crew painted the exterior of our house a little over a year ago and everything from the selection of the paint colors to the finished project was fantastic so when we wanted the interior painted this year there was no question as to who we would call to do the job. Steve can "zone in" on just the right color scheme for the perfect flow through out. All of his workers are the best from arriving on time, very professional and doing a wonderful job. Steve's guys did a wonderful job painting the exterior of our designer home in the Village of Pennecamp. They were fast but efficient and didn't take any short cuts. They use the best primers and paints and apply it properly to secure an inspection and 25 year warranty from Sherwin Williams against cracking, peeling or blistering. Best of all, Steve's price is excellent. We own a rental villa as well and had them paint the interior based on our experience and they did an excellent job at a great price. The cut in work around the trim and other edges like the ceiling couldn't get any better. Great job and 5 stars especially to Popeye and Charley!!!

The painters that painted the house did an outstanding job, no short cuts, removed all the electrical fixtures, rubber weather stripping and covered all the glass before painting, then replaced everything to its original location.

My wife and I contacted Steve of Steve Kling Painting to paint the interior of our new home about a week before we closed on our new home in the village of Poinciana. We closed on a Monday and Tuesday I had a heart attack and then quad bypass heart surgery. Steve worked with my wife during this trying time for her. Ultimately the whole interior and garage was painted and the results outstanding. My wife is extremely satisfied with the results (especially the trim and doors) and Steve's professionalism and concern during this ordeal. My wife had to continue with projects like this in order to have the house put together enough for me to have a place to come home to after discharge from the rehab facility. Thanks Steve.

I highly recommend Steve and his crew. He went to work quickly to ensure our new home was painted prior to move-in. Did a great job with the crown molding too. Garage floor was done quite professionally. Steve is very good at paint design as well. We couldn't be happier with the paint colors and receive many compliments. One wall wasn't as dark as he (and we) had hoped for. He noticed immediately and set up a return visit to repaint the wall at no costs to us. They use good quality SW paint. Again, highly recommend!!!

We had Steve and his crew paint our the exterior of our home recently and it turned out great. His crew finished in a day came back a couple of times for touch-up, then in a few days he and the: Sherwin Williams rep came out for the inspection. Looks better than it did when it was built.

Steve's crew just completed painting the exterior of our 10 yr old stucco house.

As many others have stated, they did a quality job at a fair price. His crew was efficient, polite, and very accommodating. In addition to the stucco walls, they repainted the ceiling in the lanai and refurbished (painted) all external light fixtures. We were very pleased with the quality of work and appearance of the final product. With the Sherwin-Williams lifetime guarantee, I should be good for many years to come.

Great experience with Steve!! He painted the entire inside of our home, the porch and Lanai floor and our garage floor. The quality of the baseboard paint he used was awesome. All work was completed on time at a reasonable price.

We just finished the final walk-around / inspection by Sherwin Williams after Steve Kling finished painting the exterior of our 14 year old Lantana and I have to say is that it's a real pleasure to work with someone who knows what they are doing and cares about the quality of work that they do. That certainly fits Steve and Michele but I think it also fits the crews that worked on our house - they were all good workers who set about doing their job to a high quality standard.

Our job was scheduled to be done right in the middle of the recent hurricane; needless to say the schedule got changed but I was kept constantly informed of when the painters would be there, why we postponed (because of the hurricane) and when we would actually do it. Everyone showed up on time and I never felt that I had to chase down a missing contractor. The quality of work was exceptional (as was the quality of materials used) and the final inspection flagged defects the size of a pin prick for touch-up, tomorrow.

There are some good descriptions of the "process" Steve uses posted already so I won't repeat it - if you want all the details call Steve at 352-267-7184 - you won't be sorry, and they really do what he says they're going to do. I thought the price was very fair and an excellent value; it was cheaper than the last time the house was painted in 2007 by a very nice margin.

I'm a believer, and will use Steve for all my future painting needs.

His workers were punctual, professional and did a fantastic job and cleaned up thoroughly when they were done. His prices were comparable to other quotes but no one else gave advice regarding picking the perfect colors. Steve is a perfectionist that believes in quality products used in his work. Steve's crew did our house painting in one day after the initial washing. We were concerned about some minor touch up work that needed to be done, but Steve and Sherwin Williams' rep came out and did a complete inspection and found many flaws that we did not see. They did the touch up work necessary. I think that we got a good job at a fair price. There is a lifetime limited warranty on materials and labor.
