Cute Chihuahua to rehome
No longer available ....
|
How I hate posts like this. "Oh, can someone please take my sweet little baby". If he's your baby, why are you getting rid of him. And, if it's because you can no longer care for him, why are you SELLING him. A very suspicious first post.
|
There's no need to be rude sir. I put this post up for my mother with her information. She cannot handle two Chihuahua's. And I know she is not going to just hand her baby over to anyone. And I wrote this post for her. She has had a few responses to this post. She's a great mother, and she's my mother. Shes so sad she has to let one go,and I told her,The folks in the villages take great care of their dogs, and I know someone will love Pee wee and give him all the care in the world. We are a very caring family. This post should not be suspicious in any way. Im just trying to be a good daughter, and help my mother out, as she is getting older and can only handle so much. She did not want him to go to any shelters. So please, dont judge a book by its cover. She does have papers on him. God Bless

Re-homing fees are not the same as selling, because you can get more money for chihuahuas any day. He's a beautiful dog. And I say this with all respect.but normally if your willing to pay for a dog, your going to take care of it.
|
This is her first post because she just moved here, and I am trying to show her how to use the site too,lol.. Im sorry, don't think anything bad. I just know of Talk of the villages because I use to work in the villages. :)
|
I have 4 chahuahuas, yes 4! And I would no more think of Selling one of them then I would fly to the moon! Re-homing that's what there calling it now. WOW

I have been once bitten twice shy on a "rehomed" dog, that some self-absorbed relative gave to us without telling us it was biting them and their toddler, knowing full well that we had a 13-month-old and a 5-year-old. I know how to read between the lines now. At least ours was free. |
This is why I wanted to post him on here. I told her all owners in the villages care for their pets like its their children. Everyone has to have a fist post on here sometime. I respect all of your comments, but I would rather him go to someone in the villages then anywhere else in ocala, and thats a compliment for the villages community. If you have any issues with my postings, you can always report them.

I understand that feeling up until the $150 "rehoming" fee. If you seriously, altruistically want to find a good home for this dog, contact a chihuahua rescue group and donate the dog. They will thoroughly vet the dog's personality, and vet anyone who's interested in giving the dog a home, and find the right fit in a way you could never do here on TOTV. You owe the dog a good home, preferably at no charge.
|
oh no,hes a sweet heart. He has never bitten anyone. re-homing fees are good because if someone is willing to pay for a dog, they will take care of it. a few years ago,I had someone write me because I was giving away puppies, and they told me to re-home them because some people will take dogs just because they are free,or try to fight them, and so on.That scares me. And I understand everyones comments,I just didnt think there would be some many negative comments. My moms other dog is the same age. They get along great. And there is no hurry or push on anyone. anyone interested can just meet him and they will see how he. He is great with my children. He is not viscous at all.
|
I also agree with Barry. Linda is basically selling a this dog and making it sound like someone will get a "deal". What good are the registration papers? They would only benefit a breeder. The animal shelters are full of purebred Chihuahuas that can be adopted for less than what you are "selling" this one for yet most are put down because they are not adopted.

I will not let her take him to a shelter. Shelters kill. We know someone who use to work in one,and we are not doing that. If it was a selling price,it would be more than $150. He is a pure breed Chihuahua.

I will look into this though. Thank you

To whom ever is interested in Pee Wee,just let us know. We are not trying to make money. Surely you can understand if you had to re-home your pet,for their protection no matter what, always charge a fee. This is not to sound like a great "deal" because he is worth way more than that and some. My mom is sick. She has a tumor. That's why she is here from up state, I am am taking care of her the best I can. I did not think it was anyones business to explain about why she is doing this being its her business. But I don't want anyone thinking she is heartless being that doing this breaks her heart. I thought everyone would be very sweet and considerate. Guess I was wrong.

When I researched it,they said $150 for him. she was not sure, she has never done this before and never thought she would need to. Ill talk to her about what you said. we dont want him just going anywhere. Thats our biggest concern..
|
Really, we're concerned about the dog. This is not the place to find a good home for the dog, because you have no idea who you're giving it to. It's a bad idea. A chihuahua rescue group is the best place, and they can assure your mother that the dog will get a good home. She will rest easy. I guess I don't understand why you can't see this as a good solution.
Good luck to you, and prayers for your mom's health. |
why can't the OP take the dog.. I understand that this was her Mom's dog.. ok.. then let daughter take it.. I smell something.. and it rhymes with -----
|
Isn't there a rescue group for almost all breeds now? I think that would be the best thing to consider. We went thru american lab rescue for our dog and they treated us like we were adopting a child.

Im getting grilled by everyone on here.Everyone is asking why why why, what's wrong with your pet. Nothing is wrong with him and I should not have to explain the reason( but I did because everyone is thinking there is something wrong with him),and the villages certainly is not the entire world. If your interested, great,if not, then why comment? Your picking on me because this is my first post.Everyone starts somewhere. All of you did. I did not realize my first post would be a big debate. I feel bad for anyone who does post on here, because you all will run them off. Ive been very nice to you all,and answered your questions even though you have been rude and mean. And I told my mom that everyone in the villages was really nice because I use to work in the villages. Not once have I asked any of you whether you personally was interested. I asked anyone interested, let me know. If your not wanting information, then thats fine. But I thought this was the perfect place to post him. However,I know that not everyone in the villages is like this..
|
We're not picking on you because it's your first post. I didn't even realize it was your first post because I never looked. We're picking on you because you want to sell a dog for $150 to someone you couldn't possibly know anything about, when there is a much better option for the dog.
You've answered questions, but not the crucial one. Why not contact a rescue group who is experienced in finding dogs good homes. What do you want more, the $150 or a good home for your dog? That is the question people are trying to get an answer to. We dog lovers have a right to stand up for what is best for a dog. So that's why we're commenting. |

Just be careful with who answers your posts if you get private messages. Do some research about the person who is sending the private messages. We got a chihuahua/terrier mix from Max's Pet Connection about two months ago and they charged a donation fee for the shots and the like. We did not know what the personality of the dog would turn out to be but got a good idea by visiting with him at Pet Smart at Max's Pet Connection usual Saturday 10-2 adoption event. His foster parents then did a home visit to see what kind of home the dog was getting. |
Hey LindaRM, you say you have "papers"? Return him to the breeder. Most breeders (the real ones)have in their contract that if the pet does not work out for any reason they will take them. Actually, my breeders agreement states that I must consider that as the first option.
|
I have told you,My mom will not do that. She will keep him, before any shelter no matter if she could not re-home him. And no matter who adopts a dog out,no one could fully know a person that they are getting the pet to unless they knew them personally. If I knew how to erase this post,I would. I understand yall are "trying to help" but seems to me that you have nothing else better to do then find someone on here to argue with. Its like arguing with children. You dont care about her dog,you are always wanting something for nothing,or just trying to start trouble...My two children are more well behaved then you guys are. Im done here.. And for your FYI this was the right site, just the wrong group of people..I see why the nicer folks stay off this site..
|
Thank you. taltarzac725 we are doing that too...everyone is just being very ugly to us,and Im just done on this site..But we are interviewing anyone who is interested..we dont care if they have the money,we are taking info so we know where he will be going..thanks again:)
