meet and greet saturday
 

wanting to make sure my announcement of the june meet and greet did not get lost among all the other activities going on....have someone coming from a long distance to attend this at four pm saturday on the sales office porch at lake sumter, followed by the big singles clubs joint block party at six in the square....if you plan to come will you please post here so we can all have an idea how many to expect! i want this to be a success for three new gals arriving within the next few days! there are always a few who are not posters here but i would feel better knowing that most of our gang will be there! thanks!

ok, you are forgiven :) several others have told me they will come so i am glad the new ladies will be welcomed in style...one asked for bonnevie in particular as you had been very kind to her on her previous visit. sorry you are out of town, midvale! if it is pouring rain onto the porch we will adjourn into panera's so come find us! :) and i imagine the singles block party will adjourn to the Waterfront Inn if the weather is inclement. we can't let a little rain stop us!!

very funny, boogie :) yes this is for singles to welcome new singles or the porch would be overflowing with all our friendly folks. we will tell them about your dance club and also the beatlemaniac club so you can meet them at something like that. was wonderful to have you at joe's party and hope to see you again soon!

thanks to all who came out for a great get-together. we actually had seven new ladies join us and it was a pleasure to meet all of them....we had at least twenty people! thanks to the guys for moving all the chairs around! weather cooperated and then we adjourned to the singles block party at the square until we got rained on and ran over to the Waterfront Inn.....it was a fun night...

I wish I could be there because it sounds like fun. I will be there for the month of September and sincerely hope I'll get to meet everyone. Enjoy yourselves and have a great time.

sure, donald! let us know a couple of weeks before your arrival and we will try to see that you meet some nice folks and have people to do stuff with :) you sure have moved around a lot!

I have a friend coming over in Sept /Oct who is interested in getting to know any other singles, as she is contemplating purchasing in the Villages. Although we have been Snowbirds from the UK for over 25 yrs we really don't have access to any singles groups. I just emailed your friend Pam with some details on singles activities here. Also mentioned our Meet and Greet, which you probably mentioned to her. If she does visit this fall, am sure we will see her at one of our gatherings that chachacha is so great at organizing.
