Jammie Party/Chat Fest for Women Only
 

Hi Ladies,

As we discussed, we'll have our "For Women Only" Chat Fest next Wednesday, 2/20 at my rental house.

Originally we called it (actually the chat guys did) a Jammie Party but since I really don't want any of you sleeping over, let's change it to a Chat Fest FWO....

So many of you have insisted to bring a pot luck thingy, so I'm going to go along with it but I'll supply sodas, ice, plates, etc. etc. I also have some wine and will have stuff for sandwiches, along with cheeses and noshes.

I thought we'd start about 5pm and go to 8 or 9pm, depending on how late you stay up. I think we all agreed no men invited, but if this is a problem for you, just let me know.

So looking forward to see you all. Let me know if you're coming and I'll pm the address, as I don't think Golfnut would appreciate his address on the forum.

Wish I could be there, but I'm having a hysterectomy at The Villages Reginal Hospital on Feb 20. I KNOW you girls will be having more fun the I will. <Jealous!>

Yes, Avista, we know. We'll be thinking about you a lot that night and saying prayers for a speedy recovery. Please let me know if you need anything. I'll be in TV until 2/28 and will be happy to help you in any way I can. (Ask Redwitch, I helped her after I put her in the hospital, I'm a good caregiver!)

I'll PM you my phone number so you have it before you are admitted. Let me know if you want visitors, will be happy to come to see you (and bring you some choc cake)

Avista, I love Kathie, I really, truly do. She's a wonderful, kind, giving, caring person. She's actually a pretty good driver when you can get her to not talk and just drive. Problem is, that's on this side of impossible. Do. Not. Let. Her. Drive you anywhere until you are fully recovered.

Just remember, we're here if you need us for anything from rides to dinners. Take care, we'll have some food for ya and toast you with whatever we're drinking.

Do remember to get up and get walking as soon as you can. You won't want to, but do it! It makes a huge difference in your recovery time.

Avista, this time, I can't disagree with Red - about my constant chatter that is. I think they named the "Chatty Cathy" doll after me... I never never never shut up. But Red's in there as well, can't tell you how many turns we missed yesterday going to Ocala. But it was so much fun!

Avista: Speedy Recovery to U. Also, remember to ask for Colace as anesthesia slows down EVERYTHING, including your bowels. (Don't be grossed out Kath, Us woman need to take care of each other, right?) Actually, I'd go to Walmart and get generic Colace and start taking it 1-2 days before surgery, if I be U. Walk, walk, walk, good advice from Red.

Kath: I sooooo much wish I was there for the Jammie Party. Sounds like so much fun. Oxytocin creating gathering, sounds to me. Oxytocin? you might ask?? Woman produce the "feel good hormone" when they get together and support each other, talk, laugh, hug, etc. Just now listening to Gray's Book on CD, Why Mars and Venus Collide. It's so interesting. Wish my x and I had access to that info. when we were newly weds. We may still be married if we just knew we were both handling our stress different, and a few other issues, I might add.

Didn't mean to get off topic - Have a great girly fun time. Wish I could be there. Hope you will still be having them when I finally do get there??? Christine, The educator.

Chat Pack party at my house tomorrow night. Starts at 4-5 pm till about 8 or 9pm. If you are coming, let me know. I've sent out a lot of PM's to the ladies who I remembered that they wanted to attend, but if you didn't get a PM just contact me, and I'll send you directions, etc.

Please try to join us as we will have lots of fun. If your hubby insists on crashing the party, also let me know that cause some guys want to attend also and I'll get a headcount.

Hi PM, I'm thinking I am going to take pictures, especially if the ladies behave and keep their clothes on. LOL.

I'll have to buy another throw away camera cause my other one is almost finished with the TOTV lunch pictures. Some day I'll have to get all these picts developed and posted.

Linder (Bronx accent), these crazy ladies have a "sisterly" chat?? Doubt it!! They'll be dancin and drinkin and prob some Chippendale dancers, LOL!!!

You know what!!! I had more fun than any of you. It was a pleasure to have such a warm and wonderful get together at "MY" house and when I finally move here, I intend to have them very often. There is nothing I love more than to have parties with nice people.

I might, just might, even invite Handie some time so he won't look so silly peeking in the windows. Some day we'll have to bail him out of jail for doing that.

It was also nice to talk to Kiddo on the phone and we were so sorry she couldn't make it but there will definitely be other parties, so I'm sure we'll be hearing that cute southern drawl real soon.

Kathie, you did a great job, and the Chippendales - they out did themselves.

It was wonderful meeting all of you again, and Kathie, you created a wonderful and warm atmosphere for the Chat Pack. We got to know each other better and enjoy each others company.

All I can say is Ditto or :agree: :agree: with what everyone else has said.

You are the :#1: Social Hostess of TV. We all appreciate your hard work.

Red thank you for helping Kathie with the set up and clean up, I was sorry we had to leave so early.

Just want the world to know - I have the best Sisters.
