Passing of a Legend
 

With all the sadness and trauma going on in the world
at the moment, it is worth reflecting on the death of
a very important person, which almost went unnoticed
last week.

Larry LaPrise, the man that wrote "The Hokie Pokey"
died peacefully at the age of 93. The most traumatic
part for his family was getting him into the coffin.
They put his left leg in. And then the trouble started.

Shut up. You know it's funny.

Believe he died on April 4, 1996??? Muncle that is a funny story though. We did not get on the internet until late 1998 at our house. ;)

Thank you Tal. Those of us who "knew" him, at least here on this forum, loved him. He was witty and funny and extremely intelligent and he faced the end of his life with great courage.

He is missed. I think of him often.

How sweet of you to post this! Muncle put his whole self in before my time on TOTV. Still, I've read many of his posts and I love him and miss him too.

May he rest in peace.

I often think of Muncle. I like to think he is still reading our posts from "up there".

Muncle is missed by many on TOTV.
