Pop-Up Ad
 

So I'm on TOTV and I get a pop-up ad for Charter Communications cable.

Am I wrong? I don't remember Charter serving TV at all? Why would they advertise on TOTV?

Is that pop-up ad in the middle of the screen with no way to close it? I am getting one for Citi-Bank that is in the middle of he screen and I cannot close it and I cannot read the post that is underneath it.

If you email us a screen shot if it happens that will be helpful as we do not run pop up ads on the site.

How do you do a screen shot from an iPad? I jus got a pop-up about a movie!

I think "think key word" if you press the menu button and the power button at the same time.

I'm not sure what "think key word" is.

I just got one from Meijer -- a store here in Michigan. I was on their site today but I didn't Google it. I have them bookmarked.

I have never Googled the Michigan Senate candidate nor Isis.

I'm going to try to call Apple tomorrow. Maybe they will know what to do. I think my problem is an Apple problem and not a TOTV problem.

I've been getting the same thing from ebay as posted with the screen shot. I emailed the site admins about it yesterday, but have not received a response.

clear your cache. This sight has ads that feed off your cache (example: you have been researching flooring and prices...every page you open on this sight has ads for flooring)

I was seeing the same thing, even with my cache cleared. Haven't seen it yet today, so maybe the ADMIN was able to resolve?

Today I am getting Gotcha Movies and Meijer ads. I don't know what Gotcha is but Meijer is a store in Michigan and Ohio.

Are your pop up ads appearing over postings like the example TVMayor provided? I did see those as well, but no longer. I see adds in the "Sponsored links" section for AT&T, and I happened to be on their website earlier, but the ads are not blocking the postings for me as they were previously. I thought perhaps it was a web coding issue that was resolved by the ADMIN since I was no longer seeing the static ad follow me down the web page.

Still not working. I got two All State ads while browsing a single thread. They both blocked the posts.

My popup is ebay

Mine were originally all Citi Bank which I use. Now they are All State which I do not use.

Weird.
