6 days and counting down...

I always look sooooooo forward to our TV visits. Usually arriving stressed and tired, I find that by the end of each visit I'm completely relaxed and refreshed.

This time is especially exciting since I'm planning on meeting other TOTVers.:hot: :2excited: 040

Maybe, you will make the Friday April 18, 2008 TOTV luncheon. I assume it is at 3:00 pm again like the last couple of times. :welcome:

Sigh...no...we're flying back to Michigan on the 13th. But...I'll be returning mid June for the summer.

This place is so magical. Who would have ever thought that we would find a place that makes us feel this way. Its like comming to never never land. Looking forward to meeting you both. ;D

Have a wonderful trip S & T and Brightspot. Drive carefully and be safe and enjoy your time in TV. I'm very envious but I'll be there on the 14 or 15th, so if you're still there, we'll grab a coffee together and see you at Crispers!!

Thanks, Kathy. We leave on the 13th for an evening flight out of Orlando. Hope you can arrive a little early. Otherwise we will miss you by about 24 hours just like we did Johnny and Barbara. Be so nice when we all just live there.

Kathie...thanks so much. Like S & T we are flying back home on the 13th. Hopefully we can meet this summer for coffee, lunch, or whatever. Hope you have a safe trip, too.

It's been so much fun watching your countdown, Brightspot!! Have a wonderful time in TV. We'll be visiting the end of May - and I'm counting down the weeks, but can't wait til I can change to days! Hope you get to connect with a bunch of TOTVers. Save some sunshine and fun for us!

We beat you Bright!!!!! We arrived today. It looks the same...WONDERFUL!

We met Nanci2539 and her hubby last night in Orlando (they are here also for the weekend) We met at "Citrus" a restaurant in downtown Orlando. WOW! Talk about good, no GREAT crab cakes. OMG.

Stopped by the Wood Shop today. Very nice. Lots of machines of each type. I am really looking forward to joining this group. They have turners, carvers, toy makers & woodworkers. How much fun is this going to be?

Also went to Southern Living furniture store. Yeahh my current furniture is going to be coming south with us, it looks the same. A few additions and we will have the Hemingway look with little or no effort.

and the TV research has begun.

We are ahead of you on the road. Leaving in a few minutes for our next destination - about 400 to 500 miles from here.

Everyone have a safe trip home. We were very sad last weekend when we drove home(18 hours with the rain) but we'll be back as soon as we can.

Checking in for probably the last time til we get home. Really hate to leave. It just feels wrong! ...like things should be reversed...this is home and we should be on our way to visit. Oh well soon it will be that way. Will miss all of you. Had way too much fun. :( :( :( :'( :'( :'(

In seven short days, we have to leave for six months. Yes, six months.
Because we are Canadian we can never, never be frogs. If only I'd been born three hours further south!

Susan and Tom, HB and Sidney, Bright and Mr. Bright, All who have headed North.... :'( I am saddened as more leave and even more soon, Nonie and Bernie!!! :dontknow: I have enjoyed meeting so many wonderful, enjoyable, people recently and am glad to know we can keep up on things here at TOTV!!!!! I have had a BLAST with everyone I have met!!!! Hurry back!! Crispers meetings won't be the same!!!! :'(

Hi All,

I do not think you can ever lose any of us snowbirds. Yes we will turn into frogs. Hopefully government policy will change and that will include Barefoot and Fireboy.

You are stuck with us for life.

Rok we are also sad, we do not want to leave. We are now in Beltsville, MD and it is beginning to drizzle outside. Temp is about 55 degrees here.

We're home again...back in Michigan.

Although I left TV wearing jeans, shirt, and sweater all I had for shoes were my Birkenstock sandals. Upon landing in Detroit and going outside to wait for the bus shuttle to our car my toes got sooooo cold...only 40 degrees here....brrrrrr. Although it was cooler when we left Orlando this afternoon, it was still much warmer than here.

I'm so depressed! I want to get back on a plane and head south again! I miss everyone already!
