I don't understand, years ago when I got my fl license, there were numerous background checks before you could even take the exams. Obviously something is different.

that's why she doesn't mention it - usually get blocked out - easier to just refer to "you know where" then be creative with the name

Quite confusing story, to say the least.

The man was told to resign his job and he did. Were formal charges ever made and an arrest warrant issued? Did he leave South Dakota and move to The Villages with an arrest warrant already issued on him?

Lots of unanswered questions.

I once asked admin why they won't allow a link to villages-hyphen-news dot com, and their reply was "we won't." Very informative. I have to think it is because the site is in competition and doesn't advertise on TOTV.

just wanted to let you know that if Gracie is posting something she researchers the facts, and always lets people know what's going on. This website that she is referring to is not allowed and will be *******out every time you mention it. Since you have very few posts, you will learn that Gracie is one of the biggest cheerleaders of this wonderful place. She's just keeping others informed that are not in TV at the time and all appreciate the time she spends.

The story relates he is a 'fugitive from justice' so he is likely going to be sent back to SD for trial or whatever awaits him there. The impression I got from the news release was a complaint was filed against him but that he had not been convicted.

BTW I have held a RE broker's license in the state of New Mexico since 1976. The last time renewed, a couple of years ago, for the very first time I had to be fingerprinted and pay for a criminal background check. That is the way it is nowadays. What a world it has become!

Not necessarily. He was a pastor until Sept 2013 when allegations of abuse arose and he was asked to resign. He was indicted by a grand jury in October 2014 and was arrested the same day of the indictment. Doubt he had any criminal record prior to coming to The Villages. In fact, he still doesn't.

....... I thought this was a open discussion....I didn't realize that Gracie is the only one that people depend upon. I have found many others also have new ideas and discussions to empower readers.

.......I read all the threads and all the opinions as well as listing my own. This keeps the discussions unbiased as I had hoped it was ment to me.....

TOTV is owned by several people who do not live here and are not associated with The Villages and I am not one of them neither are my cohabitants or my heirs or my assigns or any of my two cats..

I don't have anything to do with this site. I have had hundreds of posts deleted and I have one permanent reprimand from TOTV, that just breaks my heart, because I have only had two speeding tickets, period and amen and I am a sissy and a wuss and I was a teacher's pet too. I don't use the name of the OTHER site because it will be exxed out. I don't have any business interests in The Villages or anywhere. My husband still works for a large truck manufacturer as a consultant. After working for that company for over half a century.

I am old and wrinkled and enjoying the heck outa my life. I am a know it all. I am a closet journalist, but thank God our descendants are making a living doing it and I can live vicariously through them. Wanna see Pictures of our grandchildren????

I think Asian Three only defended me, because you mentioned my name as wondering why I didn't use the name of the other site.. After having posted here for years, you get a "feel" for people . Most people have figured out that I am full of owl poopy but many still feel like friends.
