The quiet here was just broken by hundreds of black birds that descended upon our neighborhood, made a lot of noise, then flew off. Dont know what they were. Looked like starlings, only larger. Taking a rest on journey South?

Have you ever noticed on a rainy day how silly the posts get? I guess we're all used to getting out and doing something.

I actually played today. It was a little damp but our group of 16 made it through. Our team lost by 1 point and I missed the closest to the pin.

Otherwise it was a great day.

no kidding around. i want to play team golf. i love competing on a team. my favorite day is Tuesday morning in the turtle mound scramble. i don't take it too seriously. i really don't care if we loose but i love that rush you get when you drop a long putt or get it close, off the tee, for the team.

pm me if i can be an alternate. i'll play in any conditions. but this week my sons are visiting me and they come first.
