who wants a meet and greet?
 

just would like some feedback if there is any newbie out there who would appreciate a meet and greet in mid february? snowbirds welcome...we have not done one in a while because no one has indicated they wanted one....please post here as if there is no need, i won't plan one :)

i think mardi gras is feb 12? so feb 20 would be good if we got seats in the square about three thirty or brought our own chairs....would most prefer planning an evening one in panera's as we have done in the past? that eliminates weather worries....

Mardi Gras is Tuesday, Feb. 17

I would love to but I'm only going to be there from the 9th to the 20th and I will be entertaining visitors (non-single types) from the 14th thru the 17th. Maybe next time. :(

ok, so far i am seeing feb 20 at three thirty in the square before the music starts at five so we can hear ourselves think....then we can either stay for the fun or transfer somewhere else to continue our visiting....let's make a rain or cold plan to meet inside panera's if the weather is too inclement in the square....feb 20 3:30...i have to leave my italian class half way through so i hope we get a nice crowd :) let's look for each other on the square by the clock directly across from the web cam. if we get there at three thirty we probably can get chairs, but if you come late, you might want to bring your own...rocky and the rollers always draw a big crowd :) maybe phillyJC can come by before her departure?

That would be prior to "his" departure! :) The "Philly" refers to the city I was born in, not a female horse. But at least I got a good chuckle out of it!
If I figure out how to post a picture, I can clear up any confusion.
Anyway, my flight is earlier so I can't stop by. I own a home here and will be back many times before I finally retire, so there will be plenty of opportunities.

you might need Hank, our fabulous TechDoc but i figured out when i recently changed my photo that it was the AVATAR i wanted to change, not the profile photo...see the list of control items to the left of the screen near the top..i think it is under User CP. sorry for the gender goof, but glad you got a chuckle! :)

yes, everyone come on down to lake sumter landing at three thirty on friday, feb 20 for the next meet and greet in the square before rocky and the rollers begin playing at five...in case of bad weather, we will be inside panera's. i will wait by the clock directly in front of the stage to round everyone up until about three forty five if the weather is nice. we all look forward to welcoming newcomers!

Sure. Would love to meet other singles. I'm a Snowbird leaving March 29 to return to CT. I'm renting in Hemingway on the 9th tee box of Kilimanjaro—nice view.

the more the merrier! one can golf any day, but some nice social interaction among other singles is a nice opportunity :)

I won't be in TV for the "Meet and Greet" in February. But, I just made reservations from March 11-19. Do you have anything planned for then?

I should be back again in May and November.

i won't be here in march but perhaps someone else can get a date set for the next one while me meet on the 20th....st patrick's day might be a good one! :)
