Lawn Fertilization Companies
 

I am in the process of renewing my lawn and pest service at my home. I have met with four companies and am looking for information on who is best to go with. Not always is the cheapest or most expensive the best. The companies are Falcon Lawn and Pest, Service Smart, Superior Services and Bates. All replies would be most appreciated. Thank you

I've been extremely happy with Deans for lawn, pest and termites. My neighbors say I have the best lawn on the block.

I have used Superior Services for almost 2 years and have been very satisfied.

I vote for Heron Lawn & Pest Control. I have lived here 7.5 years and been through them all. Our lawn is one of the best in the area.

I've never heard of Falcon Lawn.
I've used both Bates and Stellar/Service Smart and found them both to be satisfactory.

Run away from Bates and don't look back.

Ditto for Service Smart!!

Dean's is the way to go. Good techs and responsive customer service. No answering machine, they will always pick up the phone. My lawn looks terrific !

They we able to accomplish a nice looking yard in 3 months what K/B couldn't do in 3 years

We switched from Deans to Fertigator. Half the price. Smaller company. Good results so far 3 months. Unfortunately, unhappy with Deans. They let weeds grow 2 feet high in my shrub beds by the front entry. I couldn't stand to see all the weeds growing every time I came and went.

Fertigator uses the same methods as the area golf courses. They add fertigation and vertislicing to the other basic methods of lawn treatment.
I don't know of any other company offering these 2 things.

Started with Massey.... good response, Lawn was always poor looking, Pest Control Good!....Switched to Deans... Good Responses, Good with Pests, Lawn Is Much, Much Better.

Note: With Massey must pay year in advance...With Deans...Only pay every two months or when services are applied.

Been here two years and think we are set!

Another Fertigator vote.

My sprinkler guy told me that anything runs thru your sprinklers other than water can hurt sprinkler system.

Check it out!

We did check it out...................TV water is worse than the fertilizer.......it's chunky and gross.

In what way? Made of plastic..The water from your sprinkler is treated sewage

stay far away from anything that use`s your irrigation.. unless it is 100% perfect it never is don't do it.. as a former service mgr / trainer with Scotts lawn service we tried it up north and it was horrible do not do it .. plus i prefer granular over liquid any day of the week .. do some research on both you will see what i mean .. i have over 32 years in the green biz and have not ever used it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Another vote for Superior Services. Lawn looks good. They come monthly, not every other month!!

I am not sure golf courses use the same methods, but if you are a satisfied customer then that's what matters.

Heron billed me after the one year PREPAID expired. I asked for notice before the expiration date and they failed to provide the courtesy of letting me know it was time to renew. They are at the extreme end in costs ($800 per year for a 2/2 Villa) and do no better or worse than anyone else. Good bye Heron - same protection from Bate less than HALF the price.
