Chef Napoli
Wow, where do i begin? Went last Frioday, waited, finally got in only never to get our soup/sald until main meal wa served. The soup ended up being a brown bean soup terrible. The sauce they make is far from seasoned and what is real italian sauce, no spices. Tasted like sauce from Franco-American can spaghetti. OK gave it another chance following Friday, waited again, ordered pizza. Wasn't cooked enough so sent it back. Instaed of putting the unfinished pie back on the brick oven, the knucklehead cook stuck the tray with the pizza still on top back in to be cooked. Arrived and still uncooked. Left and will never go back. Shame on them for calling it Italian.

I have heard so many bad things about this place that I will never "try it" !

Loved it!!!
We were a party of 8 and had reservations. No wait....waiter was terrific! Food was excellent ! This coming from an Italian from Brooklyn.....sauce (marinara) was delicious! Everyone at our table ordered something different...from the grouper to the ravioli - outstanding!

We really enjoy it there as do many of our friends. There were 18 of us 2 weeks ago. We had reservations and we didn't get seated for awhile. Once we did, everything was delish and service was very good.
That's what I love here, lots of choices. We have plenty of places we can go or not go. |
I went with my neighborhood ladies on Wednesday and thought it was good. Lentil soup nicely seasoned and lasagne was delicious. Only one person in our group of 10 did not like her meal

I would try it again, but wasn't impressed when I went. My son and I purposely went around 4pm to beat the crowds. Got seated right away but the service took forever. The place wasn't crowded, either.

When you go to a restaurant with a mob, you really are ready to accept anything thrown at you, Went there had the Osso bucco was good, but not exceptional. They made some Zabiogne for us, but honestly I can cook better at home & I'm not Italian.

We love it there.

My wife and I are fans of both Chefs of Napoli II (Inveness) and of Chefs of Napoli III (Wildwood). We enjoy ourselves.

My family and I had a similar experience Thanksgiving Saturday. I know... a long time ago. We were 6 people, waited l hour for table, waited another 50 min for food to arrive. My wife's bake dish was burned on the top and the pasta was hard. The waiter was terrible and clueless. Finally the owner came and told my wife: "That's the was we like it baked in Naples, crispy on top". My wife is Sicilian. Pretty dumb response from the owner. The 7 & 8 yr olds ordered a Calzone each. They was the size of a football. You think the waiter could have warned them. Never again!

I don't know why anyone would go there to start with. The owner gets arrested for hitting someone outside the restaurant. Sorry, not someone I care to give my money to.

My wife and I went "off peak" and were seated immediately. Service was fine and we both enjoyed our meals. Nothing we had was overly seasoned (which may account for some not enjoying this place) but all of it was fine. Yes, my wife has a ten letter last name which ends in a vowel and she has NEVER had any pasta dish from a can.
