Ryan O'Cull Garage Door Inc. SUPERB!!!!

Wow, this is undeniably the best service experience I've had since moving here. In Feb. I had a company that advertises garage door tune ups come out to do that. I swear if he was there 3 minutes it was a lot. Since then I've had nothing but problems with my garage door opener. It would not close--as though something was blocking the sensors. One sensor was covered with sticky lubricant so I suspect he was not careful lubricating the track. Despite repeated visits from them, it would close for awhile, then eventually stop again. It vibrated so much the light cover would all but fall off. When I called again their exasperation with me was apparent in their voice. Their next suggestion was to replace my sensors. I'd had enough. I was considering just replacing the opener.

Today I called Ryan at 9am and by 940am my garage door opener is fixed. He knew just what to do. He suspected they did something to the load setting that caused the problem. But he checked everything--and redid the wiring, checked the load, tightened the sensors and for less than the cost of the "tune-up" I paid the other company for. My door sounds so much better. He really knows his stuff. And if I have any more problems he said he would come back no charge. I recommend to everyone that you call him first with any problems with your door or opener. You will not be disappointed. by the way, he said so called "tune-ups" are a waste of money, he recommended not to call unless you have a problem.

He's the best, no doubt about it!

duffysmom 04-07-2015 12:10 PM

I agree. We had an emergency and he was away on vacation. He called his father who came to our rescue. Great guy and honest.

asianthree 04-07-2015 02:44 PM

I have been trying to get him left messages. Thought maybe he was on vaca. Will try again

Ecuadog 04-07-2015 04:30 PM

I'll tell you how good he is. I had a minor, but annoying problem with my garage door. He returned my phone call and asked about the problem. I explained it. He told me how I could fix it myself. It took me all of two minutes and a little Vaseline. He could have easily come over, fixed it and charged me. I would have happily paid.

Thank you, Ryan. You're a prince.

gerryann 04-08-2015 03:21 PM

Yes, great service. Had the spring fixed today. He came right out after we called. Did the job fast and everything works fine.

Buckeyephan 04-08-2015 04:48 PM

He did a repair for us also. Out the same day and the job was completed quickly. We had another issue which he told us how to fix. Honest and knows his business.

I originally posted the number that was in the paper. The card he gave me lists this number:

Another vote for Ryan O'Cull! Our garage door broke at 5:30 last night and Ryan was here promptly at 9 this morning (he would have come last night but we told him just to come by in the morning). He was in and out of here in about 30 minutes. Got our garage door fixed and the charges were not bad at all! If you have a garage issue, he's your guy.

redwitch 04-22-2015 09:37 AM

I haven't used Ryan but love working with his father, Jeff of Master's Touch. Sounds like they really are cut from the same cloth.

Topspinmo 07-07-2015 05:41 PM

Bump this. Just had Ryan fix broken garage door coil spring. Excellent job. Number listed on his card 352-617-0552. Only guy I'll call if my garage door need fixing.

simpkinp 07-07-2015 07:29 PM

I've had two garage door failures . Ryan has been there within an hour both times and fixed it immediately. He is the best!

Floridagal 07-07-2015 07:50 PM

Ryan O'Cull is the very best.

duffysmom 07-08-2015 10:07 AM

He is fair, respectful and a gentleman. He has helped my sister and I out several times. One time I called and he was out of town on vacation so he sent his father over, and he was another gentleman.:thumbup:

I've been having problems with my garage door so I called Ryan last week. He diagnosed my issue over the phone and suggested a fix that I could do myself. So far, works great. Most businesses would have come out, made some adjustments and charged $50 to $75 minimum for a service call.

gmracket 08-02-2015 10:38 AM

Ryan was here today and I can't say enough about this nice young man. He cameon a Sunday, didn't charge an arm and a leg, did the job quickly. Would recommend him to everyone.

leftyf 08-02-2015 11:58 AM

He is the only guy I'll use

jebartle 08-02-2015 01:01 PM

It is so refreshing to find a vendor that KNOWS his craft:bigbow:, and does it for a fair price....:bigbow:

Just had Ryan here to repair my garage door spring. The door would not open at all. He answered my call, was at the house in thirty minutes, and the repair took about thirty minutes. Not only did he replace the spring but he tightened a loose rain with new screws and stopped the squeaking noises. Highly recommend this man for his work and his manners. Price was reasonable as well.

Ryan Ocull Customer oriented.

I got home late on Friday could not close garage door. Called Ryan on Saturday morning and he was here within 30 minutes. He had to make two trips because did not have parts but had everthing fixed by Monday. Was honest and knew what was needed. Did not try to sell me anything I did not need. I joined this forum just to recommend him. We need more like Ryan.

I agree completely Warren.

Hi. Is there another number for Ryan, I can't seem to get hold of him on above number? Maybe he is on vacation?

If you can't reach Ryan, try his father, Jeff at Master's Touch, 352-216-0060. Both of these gentlemen are truly phenomenal.

onslowe 11-11-2015 09:31 AM

Just another happy and highly impressed customer here. A few months ago, I called Ryan about our garage door's electric system not working. He was here in twenty minutes, and fixed it totally. Charged us a minimum amount only for a service call since the problem was 'minor' …..according to him! :)

Honest, reliable, responsive and fair. What a great person to do business with.

Suzanne882 01-07-2016 03:26 PM

Ryan O'cull is the best!!!

Our garage door suddenly "died"... It wouldn't go up or down. I decided to surf TOTV and did a "garage door repair" search. As I was reading the posts, Ryan's name showed up repeatedly as the best around. Well, I called him today at 2pm, left a message, and got a return call 10 mins later. He asked me what the problem was, what my address was and told me he would be there in 20 mins. He got here right on the nose, was friendly, clean cut, and went right to work. He found the problem, fixed it, and charged us $55 for a service call. Folks if anyone has garage door issues, this is your go-to guy. I will never use anyone else. He's "Ryan O'cull Garage Doors 352-617-0522.

rexxfan 01-25-2016 05:02 PM

We discovered a spring had broken on our garage door overnight about an hour ago and I called Ryan. He showed up in 45 minutes from the time of my call and the door is now fixed. He replaced both springs on the door which made sense to me from a probability perspective, if one broke after 12 years, the chances of the other one breaking "soon" seemed pretty good. Anyway, excellent friendly service. Since I didn't have the luxury of being able to shop around I can't comment on whether it was an especially good price or not, but it didn't seem unreasonable, so color me a satisfied customer.

Torsion Springs snapped on my opener. Set up appointment with a big company, but after reading the reviews on Ryan on this forum I called him.
He showed up on time, and had the springs replaced and door running in about 40 min. Gave me some great info on getting a new opener also.
If you need anything done to your Garage Door call this CAT, really nice and polite, on time and easy to talk with.

That was my 2 Cent. :beer3:

Ruby23 02-15-2016 01:56 PM

Ryan O'Cull just left my home and I couldn't be happier with the repair he performed! I called him about 2 hours ago to replace my garage door springs. He was in and out within 20 minutes! Pleasant, kind, thorough... responded quickly and charged a very fair price. Don't bother calling anyone else - he's THE GUY.

stulesser 02-18-2016 10:02 AM

I have used Ryan a couple of times and I have recommended him to a couple of other people. He comes out to your house within minutes and does a very professional job. His rates are reasonable, and is extremely honest. Definitely the best. I highly recommend calling him to fix any garage door related problem you might have.

simpkinp 02-18-2016 09:58 PM

rubicon 02-19-2016 06:06 AM

Ryan O'Cull Garage Doors, Inc. Excellent

Highly recommend Ryan for any garage door repairs. We called him this morning and he returned my call within ten minutes and was here in ten minutes. Fixed our garage door. We had a bad sensor and was very reasonable. He is excellent and very polite.

kcrazorbackfan 05-17-2016 07:40 PM

Another big shout out for Ryan O'Cull with Garage Doors, Inc. Our garage door had an intermittent problem (would sometimes go down and stay down, other times would go right back up). Called him and said he would be at the house in 20 minutes (yep) and 20 minutes later, had a new switch installed and tightened the chain. :bigbow:

ColdNoMore 05-17-2016 08:43 PM

I too have used him and couldn't ask for better service at a fair price.

Bay Kid 05-18-2016 08:15 AM
