Walmart?
 

Where is Walmart on 441? I only know of the one on 466. I have heard people on this forum talk about Walmart on 441.

If you are heading north on 441, it is past Spanish Springs by about a mile on the right hand side.

If you go right off of Rolling Acres, down 441 a little way past the Bill Bryan dealership, there is a road off to the right that goes into an older Walmart. It's a little ways past the building that says Veterinarian on it in big letters. Then, going the other way on 441 (left onto 441 from Rolling Acres), isn't there another Walmart... oh, let somebody who knows what they're talking about answer!

But I know the first one I mentioned for sure. It's also easy to get to from 466A to right on 25.

South on 441 turn right on route 25A. Opposite Denny's restaurant.

If you are below 466A there is one in Leesburg that is closer.

Look for major landmark - McDonalds
 

It's simple. Across the street from McDonalds, right next door to Sonic. The cross street is SE 178th Place, Sumter County.

Mapquest shows and names the county lines (in some views).

Note: SE 178th in this area is a Marion County Road

Just a few blocks southeast at the entrance to Beall's, Lowe's, etc., is NE 138th Lane which is a Sumter County Road.

I did, just pointed out that everything discussed was 441 and depending where the OP lives there are options.

Yep, we are south of 466A and we go to the Aldi, Dollar Tree and Walmart in Leesburg.

It is so much closer to that shopping area than to hit those stores 10 miles north on 441 in Lady Lake.

Wow, I've been to Denny's a number of time because my eye surgeon is next door. I never noticed a Walmart over there. I'll have to look for it next time I'm up that way. Yes, I am below 466A.

Those stores in Lady Lake are not "on campus".

Sumter county does not use NE on their streets.

You took that too literally. I consider Walmart on 466 and the one out by Loewe's to be on TV campus.

The Walmart north of Lowe's on 441 is in Summerfield, Marion County. Lady Lake is in Lake County. Lowe's, Beall's, Aldi, Cracker Barrel, etc are not in Lady Lake.

Summerfield, Marion County doesn't extend south of the power lines just north of Aldi's in this area. Look at a Mapquest map of this area that shows the county lines and names.

I believe I have answered you. I really don't care where those stores are.

I don't really care where it is. That and the one on 466 are the ones most frequented by Villagers. I was suggesting the one on 441 & 25A as an "off campus" location Villagers might consider,especially those living down by 466A.

I read all three pages of replies because I could not believe there could be that many answers. (to a question that need not be asked by anyone with a computer)

I disagree. OP was asking to pinpoint where on 441 Walmart is located. Local knowledge can tell you better than a computer what to look for (for example, it's right beside this or that; go to the deli and turn right, etc.) so you're not driving down a highway tentatively because you're looking for something. I thought it was a legitimate question.

Thank you CFrance. You are exactly right. I am new to the area and have not been to Leesburg yet. But I have been to Denny's because of my eye surgeon, so when someone mentioned across from Dennys I knew exactly where to go instead of taking my eyes off the road to look for it on a long stretch of road -- 441 is a LONG road. Why does anyone care how many posts there are on a subject...just don't read them.

I don't get that either. Whenever someone says "Enough is enough" I'm reminded of gramma school when the head-nun clicked the froggy clicker, ending recess sending us back class.
