Well, my wife went to play sand tennis today, And what do you think ended up between her toes? DOG POOP-

Now I'm ****ed thanks to all the inconsiderate self centered SOB's who walk their dogs around the sand volley/ball and sand tennis courts- - Thanks for ruining another sport.

That would be a cat or a wild animal. They go in sand.

This really does sound more like a wild or feral animal issue. Think I'd talk to someone in the rec department and semi-politely suggest they rake and clean the sands every morning. Sorry this happened to your wife. Can totally understand how grossed out both of you were.

Dogs don't seek out sand for places to poop. CATS DO! There are feral cats in TV, as well as cats who are put out at night by their owners.

Could be people poop. I heard they were filming a "Naked and Afraid in The Villages" episode.

Listen-we saw people walking dogs in the vicinity-they even deposited the poop in the trash containers-stop making excuses for lazy slobs-the truth hurts-she's selling her new racquet

I can't imagine the yuck factor. Try to talk her into waiting a couple of weeks and give it another chance. Maybe the group could take turns raking first so there are not any more ugly surprises.

If they deposited the poop in a trash container.....that's a good thing. Unless it was at a mail station....in that case, shame on them. Sorry your wife had this problem. Don't put blame where it doesn't belong.

People won't even bend over to fix divot marks in greens or put sand in the divots on tee boxes; do you think they are going to bend over to pick up their dogs poop? Not just "no" but "hell no". Full disclosure - we pick up our dogs poop (and others) and we fix our divots (and others). :rant-rave:

In my opinion, many dog owners don't really care where their dog craps or who steps on it since they start with a belief that their own s--t doesn't stink.

Most likely as cat or fox. The Villages has the most responsible pet owners of anywhere I have lived

This is the opinion of this poster, certainly not me, and hopefully not the majority of people in TV or TOTV.

I can't even imagine how "grossed-out" your wife had to be when this happened. Absolutely disgusting. So sorry that it will ruin her fun by giving up a sport that she loves. Why not take a more positive approach by putting signs up about cleaning up after your dogs??? Also, some other suggestions others have made are good. Don't let bad people ruin your lives.

On the other hand, there are so many wild animals here, and more are coming as we infringe in their territory. Dogs usually aren't prone to seeking out sand to do their poop but a few others are. Like the others said, feral cats, squirrels, foxes, coyotes, ??

Could we please declare a moratorium on dog poop. As long as there are humans there will be inconsiderate people. Most people with pets are considerate. Some people with pets are not. Gross thing to have happen but not life-threatening. Kind of foolish to give up a sport you like because of one bad incident.

Goggle is a spy for the government. But thanks for the website. I found some videos of some high level play and it looks pretty athletic.

Ditto on fixing others divots, but H E double hockey sticks NO on picking up others' dog poop!

Unfortunately, if someone let's their dog use your lawn it becomes necessary.
