My (redheaded) daughter Kelley's wedding was about 15 years ago on Harrah's Casino's Yacht on Lake Tahoe in Emerald Bay. Just got a call from our granddaughter on her 14th birthday today.

It was a very memorable day.

Our granddaughter is also a redhead. We are headed to their home near Boulder, CO starting on Monday and will arrive Thursday night in time to watch her play HS softball over the week-end. Then on to TV for the next nine months. We have an annual picnic to go to on 10/7 with our RV club and our pickleball and bocce groups will be reforming with the returning snowbirds.

Time flies around here. It seems like this was only last week.

Yes, a Pickup and travel trailer

Last time we drove my Ford F150 1/2 ton PU and it was too underpowered and didn't have enough gears to keep up with the interstate traffic. The day after we got back to Cal we went out and bought a 3 yo Dodge 1 ton diesel PU - just went over the Sierra's on I-80 and was passing semi's left and right.

Emerald Bay on Lake Tahoe - a must see! There is a replica Viking castle on the beach that you can walk to from the Hwy above - maybe 20 minute kike down the mountain (and 30 minutes back up).
