The new normal
Are you kidding me? They are giving Jenner a show. New time low America sinking lower and lower. President calls him courageous? What about our military? He doesn't call them courageous. How about people battling cancer? Are they courageous? Trying to shove the gay transgender agenda down our throats. Who cares about this he/she garbage. That is at the bottom of the list of important issues. Isis is the main issue we must focus on and we need to wipe them off the face of the earth. Put Jenner on jerry springer with the other garbage out there

Being tolerated by the silent majority.
Complacency breeds crap! |
We control our remotes. Let's not tune in and let the ratings speak for themselves.
|
America sinks into a new moral crevasse ... where peversity becomes the new normal. America is actually following the path of Rome ... and in the meantime Obama can't find his a** with both hands in order to come up with a strategy to defeat ISIS.
Impeach ... |
Caitlyn Jenner, Josh Duggar, Speaker Denny Hastert all monopolizing the news because of sexual issues and all republicans.

1. To discuss politics, simply find out the party if anyone in the news in a negative light; find their party affiliation Ned mention their names to reflect poorly on the opposing party. 2. If you suspect any of your friends, or neighbors might be a sexual predator or someone you should fear, check their voter registration; if Republican, they are obviously someone to fear. If Democratic, breathe easy. 3. If you are looking for someone to tend your grandchildren, check voter registration and in sure they are Democrats to be safe. 4. Ignore those women sexually abused by President Clinton. They are simply saying things as part of a vast right wing conspiracy. These are simply guidelines to keep you safe. |

Given that Rubio and his wife together have 17 traffic violations over 20 years .... I wonder how may sexual assaults Hillary and her husband totaled together in a similar fashion have?

Topic is transgender/gays being glamorized to our kids to make it appear "normal". Makes no difference if the he/she is black, white, purple, rep or dem. Who gives a dam ? Do what you want in your own bedroom but don't glamorize it to our kids. A two parent household with traditional values and morals is all that can save this country. Because once this is accepted next sex with multiple wives will be or why not marry your dog?? Liberalism is a mental disorder

Dear Guests:
what we are witnessing is the result of a cultural war that began in the 1960's. Liberals from various groups focused on destroying normative America ( middle class traditional values) there is a book just out on this issue. The feminist wanted to destroy men. The gays ( se Overhaulnig Straight America (circa 1987) set an agenda to make homosexuality the new normal. they feigned a benign pitch essentially stating you like vanilla we like strawberry. Hollywood was their main venue and as you can see today Jenner is described as the new norm . Companis like Disney Comcast/HBO/NBC Universal Home Depot pushing the homosexual issue big time. Look at what all of this free love challenge authority etc has wrought us. The liberals push secularism because he goes hand in hand with government control and let's not forget internationalism aka America is not exceptional How did liberals prevail because the silent majority believed in civility rational discussion etc. How's that working out for us? I said it in a previous post and I'll say it again. I miss John Wayne As to have the remote control what we watch. Pay attention to the number of shows that push the liberal gay anti religious decadent lifestyle and you have eliminated everything but ENCORE WESTERNS. Traditional must take back America or America will disappear. Personal Best Regards: |

I suppose you are allowed to make any kind of implications now on here, no matter what. At least in the case off President Clinton, there are facts to back things up. Last official count I heard was 7, although I know of only 4 that are certain. Talk about a new normal "only 4", as if that was complimentary. |

Could you repeat the question...better yet, cut and paste that question, so all can see it and respond to the question. |

the degeneration of who and what we have become is very apparent in this thread.
As far as getting with the times or be a dinosauer, I will take the values of yesterday long before I accept the permissive, anything goes, no respect for anything or anybody gutter values of today. |

How are we supposed to explain to the children why the former Speaker of the House, Dennis Hastert, at one time second in line to be president of the US, was just perp walked into court? |
Quote:
I suspect the question on our President will be asked many more times than that about the guy, who appears to be guilty, and what he did before gettin into office. |
Of course those children you are concerned about will be tech savvy, so we will need to use that same sensitivity to explain how two members, married, of the House of Representatives...while in office....were engaging in sexual antics on their phone, or even explain how a sitting U.S. Senator, Edwards by name, could engage in an affair while running for President and being touted by his party as the moral example.
Tough things to explain you are correct. NOW, your post was meant to try and slam the Republican Party, and the manner is pretty typical. My responses were trying to show how hypocritical you are being, by playing the lowest, basest kind of politics. HOWEVER, it does speak to the thread, although not your purpose....The New Normal. I realize you feel it is one sided, but someday we all need to grow up and face issues, not only with character of our leaders, but the issues themselves that far outweigh the importance of party |
It is your core values background that has one wondering how to explain, etc.
Not to worry with today's permissive, anything goes environment, they will most likely wonder what YOUR problem is! |

Your reference to President Bush may be cutesy to you but it reminds me of how less than adult this board is becoming. As with the past board, the trolls just never stop the games. And we wonder why our electorate is a bit slow. I suppose the is another affirmation of the OPs premise. You equate approval ratings in a political poll to morals, which is even worse than sad |

Thanks for clarifying. I thought the above post was about JFK, the biggest philanderer of all in recent memory. |
Quote:
Just completed a book, not about JFK but went into his dallying with Judith Campbell. etc. I am not sure he could hold a candle with Clinton as far as IN THE WHITE HOUSE...maybe pre, but President Clinton took philandering IN OFFICE to a higher level than I can think of. |

Stick to the question of having the former Speaker of the House perp walked into court. How dignified is that? Another Mark Foley after underage boys while preaching the moral highground? |
Quote:
Sniff, sniff ... boo hoo !!! Denny, just like Mark, was simply looking for love and here you go being judgmental. Who are we to say grown men can't prey upon younger men? What could possibly be wrong with that? For that matter, if the President of the US wants to assault and overpower a young intern in the Oval Orifice, why do you have to be so mean and old fashioned about a sex pervert no matter what his/her/it's gender? |
Quote:
It's rather ironical that the person who led the impeachment of the former president is now looking at five years in prison for each offense. Most of the old impeachment gang got thrown out of office including Rep Newt Gingrich (R-GA), Rep Bill McCollum (R-FL), Rep Bob Barr (R-GA), Rep Mary Bono (R-CA), all resigned or lost elections. And the former president is measuring the White House for drapes once again. There is a god. |

Back to the original post where the Guest suggests that it was not courageous for Jenner to transition and having full ODS attacks the President for not calling members of the military courageous.
I won't bother to link the hundreds of speeches given over the President's administration where he uses the exact word courage or courageous in reference to the military. You Guest are an unabashed liar to attempt to have that allegation pass as truthful. However to suggest that Jenner was not courageous in her decision is equally foolish. If I recall, you spouted a stream of bile at her with the "trying to shove down our throats" line that so often appears in Leviticans' opinions. And "who cares about he/she garbage" It is that hate that make Jenner's choice to come out of the closet courageous, to be an example for others facing similar issues, to do it with grace. If you think this was easy for her to do, and face the backlash of uninformed distain and revulsion coming from people like Guest then perhaps I don't understand the meaning of courage. If courage means not accepting publicity for being brave, not writing a book, or not allowing a movie dramatization, or a TV show, then we are into new definitions. |

Yawn .... Jenner is NOT courageous and the reaction is not about hate yadda. It's about being fed up with this garbage being paraded on TV 24x7 in an attempt to make perversion the new normal. Now, be honest, you really knew that before you posted all the trendy bs you just did correct? |
