I like so many things. I would say I love eating outside at the Lighthouse restaurant at Lake Sumter, I love the art class at the Colony recreation center and I love TOTV.

The light hearted fun loving attitude most people have. Its hard to get down in TV!

Yeppers...as much energy as those little bodies store it was a wonder they could sit still for as long as they did on the plane. But once at the hotel...oh my goodness....it was run, run, and run some more! Tuckered me out just watching them...lol.

Opportunities - I have taken terrific classes that I never did in PA. So much to try!

Riding around in the golf cart.

1-Friends
2-Beautiful surroundings, flowers and trees everywhere.
3-Too many activities to count, always something going on.

1. Being around so many people who enjoy living their life--how life was meant to be lived.

2. The openness and how friendly Villagers are to newcomers. All my mom's new friends/my new friends.

3. LSL and SS/happy hour/drinking at 2pm and people not staring. ;)

#1....that it is in Florida!

# 2....the elders (of the same age....you pick it) here are not as old (physically, mentally or attitude-wise) as they are in other places!

# 3....being retired and not having enough time to get it all done....every day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1. Friendliness of the people (2 examples: people we just met driving up in their golf carts to check out our progress on our house; people who barely know me calling me "little woofer" :bigthumbsup: )

3. All the activities, the pristine landscaping and maintenance, golf carting, our house, the sunsets. ooops - sorry, I squeezed a few more in there.

I have to add riding in our golf cart now that we have one. Such wonderful waving back and forth going on. It is really Americas Friendliest town!
