As Obama and his administration have Not reached out to this family, Obama commented on trayvon Martin, Fred brown, Baltimore police etc. You tell me, what justifies this behavior? My heart broke for that father as he told the story of his daughter killed in front of him. Her last words to her Dad were "help me Dad"

Obama is consitent and he certainly is no mystery in his atitudes and prejudices.

He does a poor job of pretending to be for the people....nless of the color of his agenda or direction.

Our President is a very aware and smart person. I am disappointed then that he would write personal letters to the folks he is letting out of prison, and ignore this family.

I am disappointed, as others have mentioned, that he takes the White House into LOCAL law enforcement situations, yet ignores a publicly touted incident which speaks to a NATIONAL situation. And of course, as I said, he is a very aware person and thus knows that the only LOCAL situations he has gotten involved with have been race issues. I was also disappointed in the Director of Homeland Security manifesting such an attitude before congress when asked about this woman. I was embarrassed FOR him.

He is a smart man, and thus my assumption is that he knows what he is doing, thus must assume it is done on purpose.

Obama can't respond to the family. Responding would be an acknowledgment something is wrong, and that the situation would be corrected.

He won't do that. He doesn't think anything is wrong with illegal immigration.

How would any poster on this forum know if the president contacted the family, unless they are part of the president's inner sanctum? Watch his press conference at 1:00pm to see if he answers this question.

What we know for sure with 100% certainty is there is no political or self gain in going public. If there was he would have been in the camera lens 5 minutes after the event telling us what he was doing to make it better.

In this case he had to make a choice between the victim or one of his protected special interests groups....hence no public coverage.

Because the Family came on TV and when asked if Obama or anyone from his administration contacted them the answer was NO and I'm sure they are not lying and I have not seen a press conference with Obama making Any comment. I did see and hear his comments on Martin, brown, etc. Though.

obama is a racist no matter how you look at it. I am believing it is a democrat thing. Look at Pelosi Reid everything they have done. Hillary is right there with them.

The President spoke out when multiple black men were killed, which then, in turn caused racial tension and finally riots. I would also like to point out this wasn't about white on black crime....Martin was killer was NOT white, the others were killed by police some of which shot a child dead within 5 secs of arriving on the scene.


This women was killed by and illegal no doubt, but you should look at Obama's record of deportations as he has deported more illegals during his term.

And before you slam me in a response I would point out that I am, most likely, to the right on this issue. Unless you support a constitutional amendment to remove the birthright and massive fines for any companies employing illegals...you would be to the left of me. We can never "secure the boarder" as its not just about the Mexican boarder....Women from China are coming here to have children for their anchor baby status.

But we can. Nowhere else are the aliens coming across by the thousands per month. The federal government even forecasts that number to be nearing 200,000 in the coming year!!!!

The border needs to be closed and the existing laws enforced.

I believe the best way to secure our borders is to make it less attractive for them to come. We could start by improving our Social Security system to insure our numbers are not compromised. Currently multiple people can use the same number without fear. If we impose fines that hurt to businesses that employ illegals so that they cannot get jobs then we could make a big dent in the flow. We should also get rid of these Sanctuary city laws.....

We may agree on how to do this but agree we need to do something.

But we should give credit when credit is do which I will do here...Obama has deported, not returned, large numbers of illegals.

I was thinking the same thing. How many deported versus how many given a pass to come in. What are the percentages and how do they compare to previous administrations? Not saying I have the answer to those questions, but it certainly would tell the whole story instead of just a piece of it.
