If This Site Keeps Getting Better ...

If this site keeps getting better, pretty soon it will be unusable.

Every day, it seems to take up more width on the screen. It took a step change for the worse when the main page of posts got 3 columns wide.

At this point, I cannot read an entire post without using the bar at the bottom to shift the page left and right. It matters not whether I am using Firefox or Internet Explorer.

Reads fine on my Firefox.

My MAC looks just fine. Try increasing your resolution.

I am having the same issue.

Try using your cursor to highlight the page (click on it) and use control + or control - to increase or decrease the font size.

I had to do that on both IE and FF to get the entire screen on one page. It does make the print smaller which is a pain.

Z.

Same prob for me. Can zoom it down but then can't read the content easily. Scroll, scroll, scroll. :(

Hey Admin: How do we correct this problem?

We don't - we didn't break it. We use work-arounds unless/until the Admin returns to the former screen size.

We have not made any changes.

We will research this further.

Best Regards,

On Chrome, for me, it looks the way it always looked. There is a narrow column on the left with local advertisers. Some advertisers up top and below including Advertisements based on my interests. Apparently someone thinks I want to rent a car.

Best Regards,

Thanx - it is annoying!

Just started for me on Firefox. Had to reduce font size.

Same issue with Google Chrome on a 24" wide screen.

No problems with 15.6 inch laptop. This sounds like the web browser zoom was changed by accident. I had this happen once when I went to a site with really small print, I did not realize the zoom carried over to other websites.
Hope this helps.

Back To Normal

Thanks to Admin for getting things back to normal.

As in the past, I can scroll the post all the way to the left and see everything all at once. About 2 inches of scroll bar movement on my 20 inch monitor. Yesterday, when the whole post would not fit, there was about 4 inches of scroll bar movement available.

Absolutely nothing changed on my computer.

alanmcdonald 07-16-2015 07:25 AM

Works right for me again. Still would love to know what happened.

TOTV Team 07-16-2015 09:18 AM

Yes it was due to the mobile site configuration for ipads. All should be better now. Thanks for the notice.
