Who would you choose to see perform again?

Choose only from list. If the answer is none, just say none. If you choose Amy Winehouse, I am concerned for your mental health.

Hard choice, but I choose Bob Marley

Easy for me--John Lennon, preferably with the Beatles.

jnieman 07-24-2015 11:06 AM

Michael Jackson

John_W 07-24-2015 11:20 AM

#1 - The Doors with Jim Morrison
#2 - John Lennon with the Beatles
#3 - Elvis Presley
#4 - Queen with Freddie Mercury
#5 - Jimi Herdrix
#6 - Johnny Cash
#7 - Michael Jackson

Others not listed, Uriah Heep with the late vocalist David Byron, Atlanta Rhythm Section with the late Ronnie Hammond, Molly Hatchet with the late Danny Joe Brown. I've actually seen these three, but would love to see them again. Also living acts Journey with vocalist Steve Perry and keyboardist Greg Rolie and Foreigner with vocalist Lou Graham performing before his medical issues. I've seen both of these as well. Deceased acts I've never seen would be Lynyrd Skynyrd with late vocalist Ronnie Van Zant, Robin Trower with late vocalist James Dewar and Thin Lizzy with late vocalist Phil Lynott.

Living acts I've never seen but would love to see, are Tears for Fears, Rush and Kings of Leon.

Saw the skinny Elvis at the Las Vegas Hilton. I'm ready for the fat Elvis.

Elvis!

Number 6 07-24-2015 01:05 PM

John Lennon!

Jaggy 07-24-2015 01:08 PM

Amy Winehouse is a fantastic jazz singer - I agree her "pop" music leaves some wanting.. but give a listen to her jazz.

redwitch 07-24-2015 01:08 PM

Really can't choose. I've been fortunate to see many of them -- Janis, Jimmie, Queen, Morrison, The Beatles, Otis, Jackson, The Who, The Doors. Yes, even Amy Winehouse. Guess I would have to pick Tupac mainly because I've never seen a live rap concert and honestly like the music. Beethoven certainly would be interesting.

DonH57 07-24-2015 01:10 PM

Amy Winehouse.

chuckinca 07-24-2015 01:15 PM

Johnny Cash.

You do know she's deceased, don't you?

CathyandSteveG 07-24-2015 02:40 PM

1. John Lennon
2. Michael Jackson

that is all

tomwed 07-24-2015 03:28 PM

Who would I like to see again?
This is probably the only place where someone could be seeing Beethoven a second time.

Reread. You are not seeing them again, they are performing again.

When I read the title question I had an answer right away. I was just thinking about that the other day.

Paul Simon

He wasn't on the list. But I was looking for someone I saw perform once before who would still sound the same. Then I realized they were all dead.

I think I would like to see Beethoven in a Back to the Future sort of way.

ooops,,,I got that wrong too. I should have said I would like to see Beethoven in a Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure sort of way. At work I would get "in conversation support" from the younger teachers. Thank goodness for Google.

I would like to hear the duet she did with Tony Bennett before she passed.

hulahips 07-24-2015 05:50 PM

Michael Jackson and Ray Charles. Very different but loved them both

Paulz 07-24-2015 06:21 PM

Michael Jackson

queasy27 07-24-2015 06:23 PM

Jim Morrison by a nose, then Janis as close second.

dbussone 07-24-2015 06:26 PM

Janis Joplin (and yes I know she is dead)

TheVillageChicken 07-24-2015 06:35 PM

All fine choices. I am surprised that no one has asked, "Who is that dude on the far right second row"?

Kate Smith

tomwed 07-24-2015 07:10 PM

Is it Kurt Cobain?

redwitch 07-24-2015 08:30 PM

Kurt is top row blonde. Not guy from Nirvana, not Keith Moon. One of the Ramones (Tommy)?

DougB 07-24-2015 08:52 PM

Alvin Lee

I saw ELVIS when I was in 9th grade, and I have seen so many performers over the years None could even come close to the excitement in the air in that arena. He was beyond fabulous!
He gets my vote!!

Cliff Burton, Metallica.

Now I'm starting to feel bad for Freddie Mercury! Perhaps we're not exactly his demographic.

kathy and al 07-25-2015 06:58 AM

Has to be the greatest entertainer of all time--------ELVIS!!!!!!!!!!!!

TheVillageChicken 07-25-2015 01:06 PM

If I could choose off the list, I would love to see Little Richard live, the '50s version.

Of course, Cliff Burton. How quickly we forget.

Jima64 07-25-2015 04:47 PM

Kenny rogers in his prime at Circle Star.

BobandMary 07-26-2015 09:46 PM

Michael Jackson on the list. George Strait is my favorite.
