Line Dancer ....Fighter?

You know its hot outside when a sweet little ole line dancer lady, punches another dancer in the face........

She says the woman was provoking her......How is it that you provoke a line dancer? Start on the wrong foot....left instead of right....?

wish I had been there to see this one......

You just can't make up this stuff.......

tomwed 08-12-2015 06:57 AM

Why is it named the Hokey Pokey?
"cause, that's what it's all about"

NOT ENOUGH DETAILS. Without the details your story has no merit.

Check the Village on-line news--article there---apparently happened on Friday according to their details.

Sandtrap328 08-12-2015 07:48 AM

The story was in the on-line paper. Unfortunately, that paper is very light on details of what happened as well.

I was addicted to the Hokey Pokey, but I turned myself around.

its not the gal with the bottle of water and ponytail is it that is always out there dancing is it?

redwitch 08-12-2015 10:24 AM

No, this was an instructor that teaches at several rec centers. The ponytail lady just wants to have fun.

On the plus side, she wasn't under 55 nor was the other lady. Can't always blame it on the kids.

The Buckeyes 08-12-2015 10:28 AM

Wow, I didn't know line dancing was that dangerous. Just like being the quarterback of the New York Jets!!

graciegirl 08-12-2015 11:09 AM

Nice girls don't hit each other.

tomwed 08-12-2015 12:18 PM

I can just imagine what the police line-up must have looked like.

I wonder if she was doing her best Ronda Rousy impression?:boxing2:

dewilson58 08-12-2015 12:58 PM

Sounds like she crossed the line.

Coal Miner 08-12-2015 01:36 PM

Villagers take their line dancing seriously. That's why I've signed up for lessons now here in Findlay, Ohio--where the instructor is very friendly and all the other dancers very welcoming...even when I turn the wrong way or mangle the grapevine.

Larry LaPrise, the man who wrote "The Hokey Pokey", died peacefully at age 93. The most traumatic part for his family was getting him into the coffin. They put his left leg in. And that's when the trouble started.

Too bad Ronda wasn't there, somebody would of been KTFO. Actually I bet none of use was there so we really don't know who, what, and how long it took to provoke the little old lady? I could see someone running up to tee box within inches of some one teeing off waving arms furiously and aggressive saying want tee off loud and aggressively what would happen when even twig hits the ground breaks concentration? :popcorn:h

Yeah. Never good distractions when you are on the course. We were playing on Hilltop this morning and on the 5th green we could hear yelling and cursing coming from the tennis courts across the road. It's hard to putt when you are doubled over laughing.:1rotfl:

That's funny! I was playing pickleball one morning and heard the same thing from the shuffle board courts right behind me! I thought? what a mean and intense game!:1rotfl:. Course I have heard few choice words on the pickleball courts also! Usually tennis pretty gentlemanly, but I have heard of AH over there:faint:

beachx4me 08-19-2015 10:04 AM

She must be very serious about her line dancing, maybe someone was getting in her space.
