Calier King Charles Club of the Villages
 

We are starting a new club that is under approval at this time from The Villages. The Cavalier King Charles Club is breed specific serving the interest of pure bred Cavaliers. The club will be a social club, with parties, visits to the new dog park( past Belle Glade Country Club), but also information with guest speakers from breeders to the Sheriff's department, and veterinarians, speaking on a variety of subjects., including heredity health concerns.
We plan to meet monthly on the weekends hopefully, in the South end of The Villages. Information should be arriving shortly in the newspaper pending approval.
Ideas have been from participating in a parade, to working as therapy dogs. We always welcome conformation, therapy, and rescue cavaliers, as well as your wonderful "just darling pets".

They may do that all they wish but my Harry is absolutely the best Cavalier. [emoji3]

I hope they don't talk about pedigrees and breeding and exclusionary stuff in front of the puppies.

Harry believes in freedom of choice in fire hydrants for all dogs without regard to breed or owner. He welcomes all varieties to his corner lot for play and fun.

Apples don't fall very far from the tree.


We are blessed to have pets to make us further enjoy our lives.

I see in the picture on your posts that Harry is a handsome guy and my guess is he is quite a charmer.

So his name is Harry.......I must ask.......Is he named after that other royal redhead, Prince Harry?

Are there any other breed specific clubs? Golden Retrievers?

They were bred as a lapdog and presented to King Charles 1 as a gift, hence the name Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.

best of luck for your club. our cavalier Ringo lived 12 years before crossing over the rainbow. his good looks and endless love made our lives better. we still miss him & he is irreplaceable.

As a member of this new club, I wanted to mention that it seems to have grown quickly. The President, Kimberly has organized many events and has provided great communication and done a lot of hard work to get this club going. Looking forward to moving to TV full time to get involved.

Hoping to join in November when we get back. I got my Ruby in December and was hoping to join before we left, had asked for info and didn't receive any. Looking forward to it next trip down...I do have a question, does the club have a Facebook page? I met someone at Brownwood Sat. who said you had a page with a lot of pictures...would love to see it, but couldn't locate it. Could you email me some info and a link to sisley@comcast.net?
