HBO is a very aggressive left leaning organization that goes out of its way to damage conservatives as they did with their HBO movie Game Changer a movie about the MCCain/Palin run. a movie that still appears separately on their TV menu so no one misses it.

This is the same HBO that glorified and promoted Liberances (sp) homosexuality with starring roles of Michael Douglas and Matt Damon.
they did so because they have a very aggressive homosexual agenda.
In fact everything they touch is going to include homosexuality and homosexuals characters

HBO also has a very aggressive environmental agenda...big big believers in the climate change movement

so it is no surprise that HBO would demand such a contract from its actors.

A movie titled The Last Keepers had some terrific actors and was entertaining about a family of witches with magical powers who had to hide from the world for fear of being harmed. it was fun to watch and it was clear that what the movie was promoting is that these keepers were task with protecting the environment from people who do not love mother earth (ie climate change)

I like being entertained but if i want a political message then I go to a political forum

Please tell us PRECISELY what was inaccurate about Game Changer? I saw the movie on HBO and thought it portrayed events accurately. McCain would have been President if it had not been for his extremely poor pick of Palin as his VP candidate.

Showing the reason for the downfall of the 2008 Presidential election is history. If not accurate, tell us how it is not accurate.

I thought it was quite well done. Cable channels do go way over the top with the sex and violence in many shows now but these could just as well as come from new places where movies are being made for various tax breaks.

At least try to be honest about it ... anyone who watches TV can quickly figure out the typical show glorifies or otherwise shows the gay culture as just super cool ... not merely "human" as you put it.

I remember Will and Grace being something that helped make gays/lesbian more acceptable. Not sure why anyone would have troubles with humanizing people with different sexual orientations.

Their numbers actually get lost in the rounding of numbers yet they are treated as if a major entity in the population.

And they are even less in the eyes of those of us who could care less but get them and the subject out of my face.

to all the guests who had negative responses to my original post let me begin by saying I did not cut and run. If you notice the topics change quickly on this forum so when I do log on I find a different one each time.

When I clicked on this AM the topic was "If you were in a classroom....." I tried to respond but my software detected a virus attack and closed down this site. So I logged on again and went to the menu and here I am.

Here are my responses to some of my critics.

My reference to HBO, et al abundance of homosexuality presented in any form is to try and normalize it. The homosexual agenda clearly promotes making it mainstream so that heterosexuals will become numb to it and hence view it has normal such as one picks the flavor of their ice cream. I like vanilla you like strawberry. Well the act is not normal and I do use my remote wisely.

As to the Game Changer the movie depicted the progressive view of Sarah Palin whom many feminist hate because she is a real woman liber in the true sense and that contradicts progressives view as being anti-male, pro- abortion.

However my criticism if you really bothered to read it was not that they made the movie nor slanted it toward a progressive view, nor that they were cruel in attempting to make a cartoon character of Sarah Palin. NO MY CRITICISM IS THAT THE MOVIE WAS MADE IN 2012 AND STILL EXISTS ON THEIR MOVIE MENU AND IN ITS OWN CATEGORY "GAME CHANGER". NOW WHY WOULD HBO CONTINUE TO OFFER THIS MOVIE OVER AND OVER AGAIN WHILE IT REPLACES ALL OTHER MOVIES CONTINUAL ON IT MOVIE MENU. COULD IT BE THEY FEAR HER? COULD IT BE THEY HATE HER THAT MUCH?

As to HBO itself. It owns so much of Hollywood that no matter what channel you select it is going to include the same tired homosexual themes. Add to that all other competitors and you are never going to escape it. Even Disney which by the way is loaded with homosexuals is pushing this homosexual agenda. Nice for the little one's huh? Disney and an educational system indoctrinating kids that homosexuals are cool is just what a parent ordered

Lastly please refrain from referring to me as homophobic. Let me be clear. hate the sin love the sinner is where I am at. My comments reflect my view best express with the phrase "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" but that's not the homosexual agenda. No the agenda is first were an alternate style and in the future the preferred style, ergo the push to remove the distinction between a man and a woman.

The cable stations know what viewers like to watch. Look at the great success of The Sopranos". It basically glorified organized crime and had weekly episodes that included graphic violence, just about every word banned from regular television, and nudity.

Would a "Ozzie and Harriet", "Leave it to Beaver", or "Dennis the Menace" get any viewers in prime time?

Personally, I really enjoy "Modern Family".

In short, viewers like these shows! Hollywood knows what sells!

No agenda - just good business.

And that is the sad part of the equation. Because the viewers like the trash being peddaled it is the OK that it is exposing our young to a level of violence that none of us ever experienced when we were growing up. That continuous exposure teaches them, sensitizes or more appropriate de-sensitizes them to violence to a point where it has an acceptance.....a tolerance.

Do many of you think those who have done these kinliings are sharp enough to come up with these schemes on their own. Some...maybe. Most learned it from the movies, the television and the media......showing what the viewers like.

So, Hollywood should not be showing what viewers want to see?

To my knowledge, television or movie production is not illegal.

What's that got to do with it? No one is saying that it isn't legal. Try comparing morality. Of course, if you have no morals, then neither drugs or filth on TV is bothersome. Yes, we have the first amendment. But, even so you still can't yell "fire" in a movie theater. So, there are exceptions to EVERY rule.

If you are so disgusted with television or movies, just do not watch television or go to the movies.

Obviously, your views are not shared by the rest of the movie goers or tv watchers.

When I see and hear someone being obstanantly contrary on a point it makes me wonder if they are really the personna they pretend to present.

Certainly they have or had kids of their own. Certainly they grew up experiencing today what was forbidden or not allowed when they were growing up.

By the way, I don't go to the movies because of rude idiots that talk and use their cell phones. My preference and my prerogative. I can watch the same movie on Demand a couple weeks after it's in the theater, and I can pause it, rewind it and not have to worry about the idiots rudely distracting.

But, I do agree with the poster that stated that Hollywood is catering to the deviants in many cases....most cases. Decent movies don't make money. And money is what it's all about. Ask the Clintons, or Trump. Hate to admit it but Trump is probably the more decent of the two.

Some folks are decent enough that they will not compromise their morals to make a buck. Obviously, Hollywood is lacking in morals.

You go on to further make my point. Ozzie & hariet were nice but there have been many decent movies and TV sitcoms made in the past that are quality family entertainment. Hollywood has floated us in a cesspool of entertainment for a very long time so I am thankful for fast forward.

Younger folks who have never been under the guidance of the League of Decency really don't know the difference...and again that was the mission of the homosexual community keep it in front of people and pretty soon it will appear as normal. So like today we find gratuitous sex is liken to a handshake, so too will this agenda. Drugs are something we all do is another theme. Oral sex is not sex just ask the 42nd President and Dr. Oz had his head handed to him when he briefly mention the health risks associated with this practice. However, all people have their rights also. If movie producers make what the public wants, it is THEIR business.

Why don't you tell that to Obama. He seems to think that he knows what is best for Americans, regardless of what everyone tells him. Even if congress votes/suggests something, he thinks he knows better.

Like I have said before, America has rights. Some folks abuse those rights. Just because you have freedom of speech does not give you the RIGHT to yell "fire" in a movie theater. And yes, you have a right to abstain from frequenting the theater. Movies that I can tolerate with their sex and vulgar language would be just as good without those negative traits. I may be able to tolerate these negatives but my wife is embarrassed and put off by it. Would you take your girlfriend on a date to see Deliverance? Would you take a girlfriend on a first date to see "50 Shades of Gray?" I realize these are extremes but there are a lot of movies that you just wouldn't see with your spouse or girlfriend. And yes, my wife does like adventure/action movies. She is just put off by vulgar language and explicit sex scenes. Stuff that is not necessary for a good movie.

This is just my opinion and it has no power on the entertainment industry. Like I said before, I don't waste my money on the theater anymore. I can turn a movie or TV show on at home and switch channels if the material becomes offensive.

If language and sex is a must in order to sell the entertainment then it's not that good a quality to begin with. Another example of entertainment gone wrong is the music industry. Many of the songs today would not be on anyone's chart if not for explicit music videos.

Just because some action is a right, does not mean one should abuse that right. How long before the movie industry takes off the "XXX" rating and starts pushing porn? Every teenage boy will be in those theaters if the governor is released from the control.

Dear Guest: Past from generation after generation in my family and to my parents were that children should always be treated as a protected species . So do you believe since the late 1960's parents have done a good job in protecting their kids from the influences of Hollywood, crooked politicians and drug dealers? Today's movies and TV sitcoms were yesterdays pornography and people hardly notice the difference.

What I encouraged my children to believe was to have good moral judgment, to be kind to people, to do their fair share, to be productive, to be good citizens, etc.

So when our political leaders, Hollywood celebrities ,sports heroes et al behave unethically, arrogantly greedy, etc my children would know the difference and speak up.

We have far too many good kids with no moral compass. Confused kids that are taught to dislike America. Kids who view the dregs of society as kool such as Kanye West. Even in my kids day nice people moved away quickly from characters like him.

You referred to my beliefs as "passionate" I wish that were the case. Quite honestly I'm concerned.. even going beyond concerned for today's kids and the future of this nation. We need to worry more about imploding than any outside enemy.

America is becoming a god-less nation and more are involved in hedonistic practices which means they believe only in material things, that the only purpose to life is pleasure and that their gods are rock stars, etc Name just one entertainment or sports celebrity you believe deserves kids idolization?
