Obama aspired to be a transformative president and indeed to the nation’s detriment he has succeeded. The manner in which he made his accomplishments has been through executive orders, regulations and agency action.

Obama’s policies in changing immigration laws, blocking Keystone XL pipeline, the Iranian nuclear agreement, and the normalization of relations with Cuba were all done with executive action. Obama used troves of government regulations on policies he knew never would pass through Congress such as his climate change agenda, Labor Department’s rules on fiduciary standards, National Labor Relation Board’s that franchisees are joint employers, the EPA’s power grab over waterways, FCC’s attempt to regulate the Internet as a 1930 Telephone monopoly
Even legislation rooted in law was enacted with avoidance of program details and the granting of excessive and vast powers of related federal agencies, to wit: Afforded Care Act and Dodd-Frank

The good news is that at the beginning of the 2016 inaugural address the new president could sign an executive order rescinding all of Obama’s executive orders deemed harmful to economic growth or constitutionally suspect. The new president could then establish a blue ribbon commission to review all other Obama executive orders. Any order not reissued or amended in 60 days could be automatically rescinded. To accelerate this process the new president should name new cabinet and agency appointees before congress begins…… As congress debates repealing Dodd Frank , the new president’s appointees could ensure that no financial institution is too big to fail, that Federal Reserve bureaucrats are removed from corporate boardrooms………… The Affordable Care Act also grants substantial flexibility in its implementation, a feature Obama repeatedly exploited. The new president could suspend penalties for individuals and employers, enforce income verification requirements, ease the premium shock by adjusting community ratings, allow a different pricing structure inside the exchanges, and alter provider compensation which ultimately will yield to repeal and replacement.

On a serious note, Obama will go down in history as a fly speck. No one will even know that because of him we have come so close to the edge of the precipice.

If you did vote and your candidate lost, tough it out and try to change things so next time your candidate does better - but still respect that a greater percentage of voters chose another path than you did.

If your political party does not seek out a diverse culture but stays stagnating, it does not appeal to the modern masses and therefore will not win.

The voters decide. The majority of voters win.

Everyone in support of Obama or Hillary Clinton causes one to think that given their absymal track records, their disdain and disrespect for America and its citizens and their lack of honesty and integrity leads one to conclude that such individuals have to be either delusional or cutters or both. You know the type those poor souls who continue to slash their bodies with a razor because they need to feel pain.

How else can you explain how anyone could not want to erase what Obama has done to harm this nation and to ensure that the next president will not continue down this road to America's destruction.

Get an education. Fact is not synonymous with opinion. It is your OPINION that a majority of voters will choose Chillary, not FACT. Right now, the latest poll since the debates indicates that only 46% of the Dem voters would vote for her if the election was today. But, you go ahead and vote for her. I am sure that winning is more important than your country. Obviously, if you chose Obama, you were not concerned about your country, just yourself.

This time around there will be many more republicans making sure they get out to vote. And this time there will be many more democrats who just will not be fooled a third time and are sick and tired at what is happening to our beloved America and it's core values.

You can hope all you want. It will not take much to offset the 3% difference of the last election.

Dear Guest: Perhaps. But what is also fact is that the state of the economy and the state of our foreign affairs clearly reflect the dismal result of these two failing politicians.

One can understand loyalty of a fan to his team no matter how low they rank season after season. However it is just plain ludicrous to apply that kind of loyalty to elected leaders who have the fate of this nation and in some respects the free world . What is it about progressives that they do not understand what responsible and successful leadership looks like and how it affects their very being.
