Reminder - Crispers Luncheon this Friday, Oct 17
 

Yes, it is the 3rd Friday of the month already and it's time for our regular monthly TOTV luncheon at Crispers.

This Friday, Oct 17, 3pm, at Crispers on 466.

Hope to see a lot of newbies and visitors there as well as longtime friends.:welcome:

We will be there and are looking forward to meeting more TOTVer's!

I will miss the "party" this month. But that's okay.I will be up north enjoying grandkids and the wonderful foliage. I'll take some pic's to share with my fellow New Englanders on TOTV. I have always loved the fall but it is especially satisfying when you do not have to shovel the snow that follows on its heels.

See that icon laying on the floor laughing? That's my friend Peachie. She does that a lot after a few cocktails. I just love her.

Would love to join the group but we will be on the road to TV and should arrive on Sat. In Nov. it will be fun to meet all of the new "friends" and the CHARTER members of this fun gang that we lunched with last year. The Snowbirds (all of us) will be arriving soon!! Yahoo!!!

We will be driving up from Bradenton on Friday and hope to be there in time. Guess it depends on whether or not our 8 month old grandson holds us prisoner.

Unfortunately, Fireboy and I won't make it in time for this month's luncheon! But see y'all in November for sure.

As Time for Tee said, the snowbirds are starting to get ready for their trip to The Bubble. Hear the flapping of their wings.

Will be arriving Tampa Airport 1:00PM on 10/17.. Hope the get to Crispers by 3:00 to 3:30 PM. Like to meet you all there. :2excited:

I will be there and wouldn't miss it. Plan my visits to TV around the luncheons (and of course, my work schedule). Can't wait to meet Karen83 (fellow RN) and maybe Tkret?? Also looking forward to visiting with VK2, 07, DickY, Chelsea, Rokinrhonda, Handie and Mrs. Handie, Pete, Ronnie, Swirnfla (or whatever your name is-LOL), Kathie, Red, Sam, and I'm sure I left somebody out . . . but you get my point. Want to meet all newbies too. Until then . . .

Jim and I are really looking forward to meeting everyone at Crispers on Friday.

We are finally in The Villages and hope to attend! (As long as I don't get busy doing something and forget!) We are currently in a rental waiting for our house to be completed!

It was great to have the chance to meet JoJo, Villages 07, Kathie, MD Blonde, JonnyM, Handie's, DickY and the rest. Sorry we could not work it into our sched but perhaps next time. We are already back in VA.

Look forward to catching up next time.

About a month ago I had some serious surgery. Thanks to great doctors and friends I am healing fast. My husband is still working so I spent my winters alone in the villages. Thus I have to get clearance from my doctors and if no complications I hope to be there in a couple of months. I had hoped for Thanksgiving but that might be pushing it.
Good news...hair will cover all the scars. I had lost my sight but I got it back completely. No cancer. All in all I am doing great.
Go to travel forum. I live in Fredonia, N.Y. (some) and am actually a resident of Florida.
So I will be there for Jan. Crispers if not before. Looking forward to it!!

If I don't make it in time for today's luncheon, would you save me a piece of cake, please? But, NOT the sugar-free kind! Is dad coming to the luncheon, too?

That IS wonderful for your father. Any vacancies in that place; perhaps, he would introduce me to one of his ladies.

Have a fun time at the luncheon with everyone because that, TOO, is wonderful. If you have candles on DickY's cake, make each one a multiple of 10 because if he has to blow out alllllll those many candles, Crisper's management better have an AED machine at the ready :1rotfl: :clap2: :1rotfl:

Well I know I promised Kathie I would meet her there...but sorry friend...I am working and can't walk away....if anyone reads this in the next 20 minutes...love to everyone!!!

Cassie, so sorry you couldn't make it. This was the best lunch we've ever had. There had to be 40 people show up, many newbies and it was a wonderful exchange of laughter and warmth. If this continues, we will need to find another place that is larger although Crispers has been so wonderful to us. They refrigerated the cakes and helped me clean up. They were truly great.

Wait till you see the pictures... 07 and Kiddo took them and I took some on my brownie... but I have to find someone who can develop mine. So I'll post them next week but enjoy 07's. You will be amazed at the turnout, wish you all could have been there.

DickY loved his cakes and so did everyone. Sorry Tkret, but there wasn't any of the delicious chocolate cake left, even I didn't get a piece, so I'll buy another one when you get here. Okay?

sounds good to me Kath. Very glad that you and the others had a really nice luncheon today. I'll anxiously await the chocolate cake but will have some "Devil Dogs" until then... bye
