McCain Palin will get my vote.
 

I really would have preferred Romney or Hillary but with the set of candidates that we have I will be voting for McCain. I am going to trust that the Republican fiscal responsibility will again make itself known, and although I am not foolish enough to believe that the bailout isn't gonna be paid for by US, I want no further foolishness of granting loans to people with no history of keeping their bills paid.

I have to admit that I am a sucker for a quick wit and I really enjoyed McCain's roast speech, even perhaps written by someone else, he delivered it with the style and polish of John Kennedy. He was disarming.

Don't jump on me. My decision is based on my ideas and feelings, just like yours. Probably no better or worse than your decision. Frankly the mess we have allowed someone to create in this country is gonna make me return to church and pray. I needed to anyway.

stick to your guns. i will be voting the other way, but dont let anyone ruffle your feathers. As long as you vote, that is what counts.

There is no question that both McCain and Obama have professional speech writers, particularly for a comedy routine such as they both delivered.

He's the one that did that Bay Of Pigs thing, wasn't it? Oh, and I remember that he started the Vietnam war when he first sent "observers" (troops to train the South Vietnamese) to Vietnam. Wasn't it Lyndon Johnson who escalated the war after Kennedy's assassination? I believe what they started cost us 53,000, FIFTY THREE THOUSAND American lives! The rumor is that they were Democrats! My word!

But, some people think that only Republicans start wars, or spend Millions/billions of dollars of tax money doing it, or have cost American lives!

You know what you are getting by voting for McCaine. God only knows what Obama has in store for this country if elected. President Kennedy was the most polished speaker of any president that I can remember. The pair of them were admired on the global front for their wit,their class, their dress, their manners and their style. Later his morals too were suspect which made me very sad. Yes I am a Republican today, but I was a Democrat then.

The numbers in the Iraq war are a little over 4000 since the war began. The entire war. 4 years. The Vietnam war cost America an average of over 5000 troops each and every one of 10 years.

I, along with other veterans, are saddened buy the loss of any of our brave servicemen. We also realize that it was the job, and the duty for which we entered service to do. I just get very tired of Americans saying "those wasted lives" or the number killed "is too high". If you don't like the Iraq war, fine. Just don't use our troops bravery and lives lost to argue your point.

Your the one the used the troops, not me or anyone else. I wanted to see who you would blame IRAQ for, i served in IRAQ, Prodully i might add!!!!! one life is as important as any, Wasnt you blaming Kennedy and johnson. Checking to see if you would blame Bush or not. Sounds like you need to take your own advice....

I guess that I'm guilty once again of trying to be short on what I write and not explain the context of what I say. Somethings I guess need to have the whole enchilada written out so that some can understand what I'm saying.

As you could see, I didn't BLAME anyone for the Iraq war. I WAS pointing out, how wrong that it is for the Democrats/ liberals posting on this forum, to use the casualty's of the Iraq war to defend their anger at Pres. Bush. The facts are that Pres. Kennedy/Johnson were in office and escalated the Vietnam war. What I pointed out was that a Democratic President has also caused great casualty in war, so lay off on that issue.

Thank you for serving your country and I'm happy to hear that you are proud of your contribution.

The only advice I need to take is not to assume that everyone will understand my drift and that some need it to be spelled out for them.
