Any information on when this was? There should be something about this in the Sumter County arrest log that is in the Villages Daily Sun. Cannot remember what day this usually appears though?

Sandy,

I think this topic may involve more ups and downs than even the stock market.

graciegirl 10-22-2008 10:02 PM

Someone said that all of the attractive younger women at KatieBelles were ladies of the evening. I never know if I have seen one or not. They would probably have to dress in some kind of Ho outfit for me to even notice them. And I am sure they don't. Now I can see them being at KatieBelles where there is dancing, but isn't Urban Flats just a plain old restaurant? HOW to the ladies get their johns there?

Inquiring minds wanna know!

Boomer! Is that a thinly veiled innuendo? It's bad enough that I get on here and carry on. People will think all of the people from Cincinnati have dirty minds.

BOOM. What are you thinkin'?

Boomer 10-23-2008 06:25 AM

Oh my!

Uh, it was late.

You know, GG, I finally figured out that I should never type after midnight. Now, it looks like maybe I should not type after 10:00 at night either. It is getting dark earlier as winter sets in in Cincinnati. I will have to be very, very careful about what I type.

Or. . .hey, maybe the comment is like a poem and it can mean whatever the reader thinks it means.

Oh well, maybe I should have said that this topic has more ins and outs than all the political stuff.

And we still don't know what happened at Urban Flats!!!

Donna 10-23-2008 07:02 AM

We never saw any suspicious activity...:mornincoffee:

Boomer 10-23-2008 07:37 AM

OK.

Admit it.

This thread is much more interesting than the morning news.

But are we rumor mongers?

Perhaps. Perhaps not.

We need to find out.

You know, if I am remembering correctly, there was a statement that was on the opening page of the old TOTV where the admins sort of pledged to check out all rumors.

Is that still a part of of their job description?

The Great Fumar 10-23-2008 07:52 PM

First of all let me say right up front that I don't like urban flats.....Haven't liked "stuff on the shingle" sense military days ..Sooo I never go there..HOW EVER , Having said that I may have to change my mind if thats whats going on there....

Still looking for SALLY RAND ............... FUMAR

chuckinca 10-23-2008 11:32 PM

Sally Rand passed on in '79

Ayn Rand also kicked it but in '82

However, Remington Rand and Sperry Rand live on as Unisys

And back to the subject - people want to know: Where is Urban Flats?

.

GracieGirl, we know where Urban Flats is ... LSL, on the square. And we know they stay open late for snacks. And perhaps for other activities??

But what we don't know .... is details on certain ladies detained by law enforcement.

.... And they said it only happens at SS at Katie Belles.

Russ_Boston 10-24-2008 11:02 AM

Is this one more expense I should be adding to my planned monthly TV budget?

Now I know why Urban Flats is also so busy!

Bonny 10-24-2008 11:07 AM

Okay, I'm at Urban Flats almost every night. I must be missing something. Let me know what I'm supposed to be looking for. I'll be glad to keep my ears & eyes open & report any lude behavior that I see going on. Just so you know, I would only be doing this because I feel it would be my civic duty to keep all informed.LOL :pepper2:
I already know the ones at Katie Belles !!

 I am still looking for "Mr. Midnight"!!

rshoffer 10-24-2008 11:25 AM

looks like the author of Leisureville was on to something.... might have to return to write a sequel.

collie1228 10-24-2008 03:12 PM

Isn't this news?

What I find strange about this is that "something" apparently happened, and the local news has not done any kind of story on it. I realize the Sun is a company paper, but come on! Isn't this news? Does other "crime" get reported in TV (right, I know, there's no crime in paradise?) And by the way, when we were at TV in July for our preview visit, we stopped at Urban Flatts at least three or four times. It was busy, but I never suspected anything economic/romantic was going on. Must be getting old . . .

Taltarzac 10-24-2008 03:17 PM

I do not see hookers getting busted as newsworthy.

This incident-- if it was ladies of the night getting collared-- hardly seems like something that would get any press even from the papers from Orlando, Leesburg, or Ocala.

I am sure they are here in TV. It just seems like human nature that prostitution would be in a community of 70,000 or so no matter how "senior" the population is.

F16 your are bad to the core and I'm gonna tell Barb on you. I did bail Betty out the next morning because it was determined that a spouse cannot be arrested for propositioning his mate. The cops sure spoiled the mood and it will be a cold day in urban flats before I do that again.
Now you all know the truth. Shame on all you trash seekers.
Just wait till halloween, F16 is gonna get a pumpkin over his head bigtime. See you all there

Lets get one thing straight , They are not prostitutes , They are only substitutes , They work on Weds. and Thurs.

grammatically correct ........fumar

Think any male villager who needs daily doses of viagra is lucky.

I get your drift the Great Fumar. That reminds me of a line from the Andrew Blechman book Leisureville
about Mr. Midnight's comments after the February 2007 tornado here in TV. He wrote the author that all was well in his life but that Blechman needed to send viagra to TV. http://search.barnesandnoble.com/Lei.../9780871139818
