So where is the news this morning about the sailors captured by Iranians?
Either it was stated all is well and everybody went their way safely with no incident.
Or it is being surpressed? Which is it? |
I found something.
Obama's usual tactic in confrontation with his coveted Iranian/Islamic commrades: US apologises for Iran naval incursion - Revolutionary Guards - BBC News |
As is customary posters(s) on this forum have no idea what they are talking about. The only things embarrassing about this event are we were indeed in Iranian waters and were caught and the Republicans reaction before any facts were out. The Senator from Arkansas, Tom Cotton, was in front of a camera belittling the President of the United States. He may be a veteran but that is not a license to be stupid. I'm not sure if Obama ordered those craft into those waters but I suspect probably not, kind of like bombing the hell out of that hospital last month.

An eventuality that has been underway for years, or I should say since Clinton gave him safe harbor, and it came to fruition during the Obama time in office....not as a result of any special initiatives our lead from behing commander initiated! |
So Obie got Binny and Bush got Sadaam. Binny was an old broken down and retired wannabee terrorist and Sadaam was still killing his own people until we attacked and then he went into hiding. But, he is responsible for killing close to half a million people with WMDs and then continued to terrorize his own people by kidnapping young women with his brother, raping them and killing them. So, if Oblama wants credit for killing a has-been that qualified to appear on Dancing with the Stars, then Bush gets credit for Sadaam. Either way, they are both past tense.
This has nothing to do with captured sailors. Even though we have no idea what they were doing at the time they were captured, take into consideration that most Maritime law acknowledges 12 mile coastal waters as a country's territorial controlled waters. From what I read, they were not within that area, but Iran has a tendency to dictate their own maritime territory. I am not saying that they did NOT violate Iran's waters, but I haven't read anything yet that has given us any confirmed details. It may have also been a covert mission, for all anyone might know or guess. I am sure that the media will expose the details before long. |
Actually that is not embarrassing and...

North Korea H bomb
Iran missile launch Cuba in possession of America's hellfire missile Iran nuclear deal Iran detains 10 American sailors Obama has entered into a strategic and advent guard etc etc etc Its clear Obama and company have absolutely no shame Its gotten so bad that the once sacrosant belief that one always shows respect for the position of President is no longer true because Obama allowed this position to be battered, viewed as weak, incompetent, indecisive, lawless, deceitful, and clueless that it will take no one less than Jesus Christ himself to rehabilitate it. Oops, my bad. Liberals will be getting after me for using the "execution" word. Liberals believe in sanctity of life....except when it comes to innocent babies. Then they can be used to prolong their lives. |

On Fox, there was a "retired" Army captain who said the sailors in the disabled boat should have fought to the last person to avoid capture by the Iranian soldiers. He also said that they should have tried escaping while being held overnight. It is amazing how Fox finds these lunatics.

Does anybody but me wonder how 10 US military armed to the teeth on 40-50 mile per hour attack boats were captured without so much as a shot being fired? |
I have to believe there is more to this than we are being given. Even the pentagon is keeping it a secret. Probably a covert mission of some sort, that uncleared citizens do not have a need to know.

Theory? We don't need no stinkin' theory when there is obvious messing with the truth by top ranking officials.
Secretary of defense stating the problem was a navigational error. Really? Highly trained, heavily armed, high speed pursuit and escape speed boats BOTH have a navigational problem? I don't think so. Imagine two cars in the family going to the same place using their respective GPS in each car. One starts to leave the lane and exit the highway while the other shows continuing on the current road. What do you think the immediate reaction of one or the other will be? The secretary of defense should have a guy like Obama has Josh to tell tall tales and act as though they were true. Allows the top guy deniability when or if needed. Two boats....navigational error?:1rotfl::1rotfl::1rotfl: |

Bush got us into two wars? Obama is so chicken sh// that we now have the whole middle East exploding, terrorism running rampant and Iran with a nuclear weapon. I would rather we fight overseas, than here in the U.S. When you are running for your life here, I bet you will feel that way too. Then you can brag about someone ELSE that you know fighting for your liberty. In the meantime, your messiah in D.C. can continue to bow to the enemy and abandon our people serving overseas when they are in need of rescue...ie, Benghazi. While Americans worry about terrorism in the U.S. Obama will attempt to eliminate our guns so that we can't protect ourselves. So, while you live in the past and depend on your "nephew" to protect your lifestyle, the rest of us will be thinking of the future and how WE can protect our families. Your attempt to blame Bush for Obama's failures is not only old and weak, but pathetic. I 'm not going to ask you what you did for your country, because I know that it is easy for you to make something up off the cuff. Everyone knows someone that has sacrificed for their country. We also know a lot of you that have enjoyed the fruits of their sacrifice. Remember, Bush led a coalition, and Obama leads from behind, also known as a follower. Where I come from, following is not leading. Losers follow leaders. Obama followed Bush, so therefore Obama is a loser. But, he gets a trophy for participation....the Nobel peace prize....:1rotfl: Bet most Americans will tell you that they felt safer with Bush leading than this coward we have bowing to the enemy. Bet you wouldn't take that bet. |
