Johnny and Barbara,
What a lovely young lady....love the bandanna. She looks like she is at home and very comfortable. I think one ear up and one down is very chic. I am really looking forward to meeting her.

KathieI 10-25-2008 07:49 PM

Prancer knows how to strike a pose for sure...what a beauty!

I know you and Barbara are happy to have her home and the bonding can now begin. What a lucky couple you are to have Prancer a part of your family now!

"Lucky dog" takes on a whole new meaning now with you two as her "parents". Enjoy each other...I know you will!

bestmickey 10-25-2008 09:33 PM

She is a very pretty girl! It appears she didn't take any time feeling right at home. How generous of you two to adopt her. Thank you!

Whalen 10-25-2008 09:42 PM

Welcome

Bristol & Charlotte say welcome!
We were outside kitties who came in from the cold & were rescued by the Whalens.
Must say you're pretty good lookin' for a puppy!
Good luck & God Bless, be as happy as we've been all these years.
B & C
:) :)

Johnny & Barbara

Welcome to the new addition to your family. Such a lucky doggie.

Just Susan 10-25-2008 10:40 PM

Oh Prancer is so cute. I think she looks a great deal like her new Daddy don't you Barbara? :1rotfl::1rotfl::1rotfl:

JohnnyM 10-25-2008 10:47 PM

Yes, but I think my nose is a little longer...;)

Just Susan 10-25-2008 11:17 PM

I wasn't referring to your noses, I meant the cocked ears! :1rotfl:

chelsea24 10-25-2008 11:27 PM

Prancer Love!

Oh Johnny and Barb. What a beautiful girl. And so lucky for all of you to have found each other. Congratulations. :)

JohnnyM 10-25-2008 11:27 PM

Is this pick on Johnny night?:boxing2:

zummy 10-26-2008 12:17 AM

Johnny, Your new neighbors boy Rusty wants a play date as soon as we get into town.

If I knew how to post a photo, I would share one of our Wheaten Terrier, age 3, who loves to play with larger dogs.

JohnnyM 10-26-2008 03:07 AM

Thanks Zummy, we can get Rusty and Prancer together. They will live on the same block. Chels I wasn't picking a fight with you but rather our Susan who made fun of my cocked ears. Thanks again everyone for welcoming Prancer to the neighborhood!

graciegirl 10-26-2008 08:42 AM

KIDS! The second you get on the phone, they just hang on ya! She is adorable. So happy for you both!!

beady 10-26-2008 08:47 AM

Johnny and Barb...Prancer is so sweet...I love her ears....she's got a little attitude going there ...have a wonderful time together.

redwitch 10-26-2008 08:48 AM

She is a beauty! You guys done good. Can't wait to meet her.

Taltarzac 10-26-2008 09:08 AM

Pretty dog, Prancer.

Cannot wait to see her prancing around Doggie Doo Run Run. Have not heard the greyhounds of the large variety bark all that much at the dog park even though some of the Italian greyhounds and Italian greyhound mixes in the small dog section can be quite vocal.

Best Mom 10-26-2008 09:19 AM

Congratulations!!!:clap2:
Prancer is a sweetie and will bring you much joy. Lucky dog to have you as parents.
My little lover (Benson -8 year old pug) can't wait to play. See ya at Doggie Do Run in Jan. :MOJE_whot:

JohnnyM 10-26-2008 11:05 AM

Thanks again all, I read all your posts to Prancer. I think she understands. Tal is the doggie park on Rolling Acres Road?

F16 1UB 10-26-2008 07:04 PM

Hey Prancer,

Please play with Sadie Mae whenever she arrives. Her sister, Patience, can't stand her and she has nobody to play with other than dead fish at the boat ramp. And I'll bet your skinny frame will fill in within the next 30 days because you'll be spoiled "Big Time".

jojo 10-26-2008 07:52 PM

Thanks for sharing the picture. Can't wait to meet Prancer in person along with her proud parents. She looks quite content as if to say, "Didn't I do a good job picking my family?"

JohnnyM 10-26-2008 09:07 PM

Thanks JoJo, we will be on the square tomorrow and Tuesday night with her.
F16 we await Sadie Mae and hope for the best. Doggies need friends too. We are trying not to spoil her and just coming off the track 3 weeks ago she really doesn't know what life is about; at all. She has never been in a house. Only crates at the track all her life and then for a few weeks at the shelter. Quite a challenge but she is really adjusting to all the sights and sounds of the real world. See you soon I hope, Johnny

Hyacinth Bucket 10-26-2008 09:29 PM

Congratulations - we look forward to meeting the new addition to your family.

Enjoy Prancer

Johnny & Barbara,

Cant tell you how happy I am that you adopted Prancer. She is a beauty and she looks right at home and so happy! CONGRATULATIONS ! On adopting a rescue dog, they are eternally grateful and so am I!:mademyday:

JohnnyM 10-27-2008 08:41 AM

Thanks Nonie, you and Tal helped me get started in the process almost a year ago. You give very positive vibes....Johnny

yorkmaine 10-27-2008 09:49 AM

She looks great. Maybe she will meet our Chloe soon.

JohnnyM 10-28-2008 05:28 PM

DOg Park

Johnny, it makes my heart warm to see your pictures of Prancer. What a lucky dog.

We take our two boys to Doggie Doo Run Run every afternoon (CR 101 north of Crispers).

When Prancer is ready, we'd love to see you there.

duffysmom 11-10-2008 07:52 PM

Love the name Prancer

I think I just fell in love with Prancer. What a beauty. Her pictures speak volumns about how safe and comfortable she feels in her new home and she has every intention of taking up as much room as she can after years of being confined.

JohnnyM 11-10-2008 08:33 PM

Thanks Duffysmom. I read your post to Prancer and she said Woof, Woof. That means thank you in greyhound speak!

Blondie 11-10-2008 08:54 PM

Wait Johnny,
Woof Woof means Where is my pal Blondie...remember!:icon_wink:

JohnnyM 11-10-2008 09:03 PM

Blondie I know Prancer really misses you. You were one of her first buddies....She will be waiting for you!

Barefoot 11-10-2008 10:38 PM

Johnny, when will Prancer make her debut at Doggie Doo Run Run?

Brutus and Biggins anxiously await.

JohnnyM 11-10-2008 11:00 PM

How about this Wednesday. She has to be in SS Square for a Greyhound walk about at 6pm so maybe late morning or early afternoon?

Barefoot 11-11-2008 05:59 PM

TOTVers at DDRR

How about 11 AM on Wednesday? (Not a lot of dogs around at that time of the day which might be good for Prancer's first visit).

Perhaps Ringo and Sport will join us.

We can even bark at Talk Host through the fence if he's golfing. :1rotfl:
