Dirty Grandpa.

Dirty Grandpa (2016) - Rotten Tomatoes

I heard from a reliable source that this really stinks. Anyone seen it? :$:

Went to see Concussion today. Will Smith was excellent. Really good movie

Maybe when it comes out on video.

I have no proof, but I think somewhere along the line Robert DiNiro became a big spender and will take any role that pays him well. I know the same thing happened to Nicolas Cage. He use to be a fine actor and then he started buying real estate all over the world, islands and big houses and suddenly anybody that would pay him $10 million he would take the part. I was a huge fan of DiNiro, I remember even going twice to the theater to see Angel Heart. Somewhere in the 90's things changed for Robert.

This turkey probably will not make much money. Too bad he could not get a piece of Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

The faster it comes out on video and leaves the theaters, the worse it will be.

seems to fit

"Kudos to these men for pushing on when they had already achieved wealth, fame and prestige. Yet the striving stiffs among us may feel De Niro provides a more relatable example. He's one of us now, a member of the happy-to-be-average club, with the body language of someone whose thoughts are perpetually on that next golf round or Game Of Thrones binge-watch. It's a reminder that life isn't always about overcoming impossible odds, pushing ourselves to the limits, looking for new Everests to conquer. We can toot along in the slow lane – humble but happy. That is an obvious lesson in many ways – but how strange that the star of Taxi Driver should be the one teaching it."

What we can learn from the decline of Robert De Niro - Telegraph

Di Nero may be worth $150 million. He doesn't need the money. I can understand needing the work. Doesn't he get offered any roles in good movies? I hope Meryl Streep stays choosey.

The Intern looks funny. You can only be an angry young man for so long.

Shades of Blue is a real disappointment not only because it carries the usual Hollywood theme of crooked cops but because Ray Liota lowered himself to porno.

Jima64 01-30-2016 08:27 AM

Worldwide these "crappy movies" make a lot of money on dvd's and streaming.

The Bad Grandpa movie did well . This is one of the Jackass movies. Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa (2013) - Rotten Tomatoes

You kind of know what you are in for with the Jackass movies though.

The Intern is a cute movie . My husband could especially relate to the old executive ways.

I plan to see it as soon as it comes out on DVD. The Intern*(2015) - Rotten Tomatoes

I am a big fan of Anne Hathaway. Anne Hathaway - Rotten Tomatoes

Saw The intern and Dirty Grandpa. The Intern is more of a chick flick, and Dirty Grandpa is more of a spring break type movie. It will be interesting to see the final box office tally of the two.

Who can forget De Niro as Louis Cyphre in Angel Heart?

I loved the fingernails.

Angel Heart besides DeNiro playing the devil, it had my other favorite actor at the time Mickey Rourke. I still think his performance in The Wrestler was one of the best ever for all he had to do with his body to get in shape. He basically could of been a WWF performer without any problems. I loved when he worked in the deli department at the grocery store cutting meat. The woman kept sending him back, she wanted just a little bit more, then a little bit less, a little bit more, then a little bit less.

If anybody wants to see another great performance, watch The Revenant with Leonardo DiCaprio.

Of topic ( sorta) but I like Shades of blue .. one of the reasons was when Ray went that route, I was "WHAT?" and it's always good to be surprised and not know where the story is going.. as to porn? I sure don't see it as porn ...it is what it is.. Life. :police:

Thanks. It was a small group of female Villagers. Boy did they pick the wrong movie for ladies night. It was actually morning, but....

This is a really bad movie. I did get around to seeing it on DVD. Dirty Grandpa (2016) - Rotten Tomatoes

Did not even recognize Julianne Hough as the stuck-up bride-to-be. She did remind me of some of the female law students at the University of Minnesota Law School but only a very small number of them were anything like that. Julianne Hough - Rotten Tomatoes

The budget was $11.5 million and the box office was $94 million. Look for Dirty Grandpa 2 soon.
