Lawmaker wants what ?

A Kentucky lawmaker wants men to have a signed note from their current wife before a man can purchase Viagra, Cialis, Levitra or Avanafil !

So what do you think ?

Too much big government or a good idea ?

Guest 02-15-2016 02:29 PM

Where did you find this information?

Its in response to another bill:

Kentucky bill requires spouse consent to husband's Viagra use - CNNPolitics.com

And then South Carolina

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/...ing-abortions/

But my personal favorite is the one from Virginia which requires men to get a rectal exam and a cardiac stress test before the script is filled

State Senator's Comeback to Mandatory Ultrasound Bill: Mandatory Rectal Exams for Men Seeking Viagra | Mother Jones

And then there is this bill, Kansas, which outlines what women witnesses:

Kansas lawmaker imposes dress code on female witnesses | Fox News

Its about time for some balance!

Not so.... Viagra and similar drugs present a health risk to the men who use them. In light of the nationwide tend for male lawmakers requiring transvaginal ultrasounds for women for health reasons it only makes sense.

I have had one of these done and I can attest it hurts like h**l!!!!

What nerve would that be? The fact that this stupid article on the blue pill is not political? I have never used the stuff, and so far have never needed it. But, I would not ask for permission to use it, even if I did require it. That's just stupid and will never happen anyway. If a woman has the right to do what she wishes to her body without a man's permission, then a man certainly won't have to get permission from a woman to use this crap.

Then you are not someone at which the bills are aimed!!!!

Just more nanny state. Apparently, liberals believe that they need someone to direct them and tell them what they can do. I guess they were raised with parents that never allowed them to make any decisions. No self reliance.

Are you kidding, why don't you check on the number of bills directed at women by the Republicans.....

A******!!!!!

Useless, no value added information for the majority.
And it certainly does not belong in the political forum.

Creates another problem---it may not be his WIFE that he is getting to pills to perform.

And discrimination against gays. A liberal conundrum.

Trying to legislate whether or when and for what or who a guy wants a boner med???
Really? This is a political subject?
Is somebody suggesting their boner rights are being violated?
Is somebody complaining boner meds are being used inappropriately?

I suppose in this day and age there is a possibility this could lead to a new special interest group of some type.

The subject raises all types of issues.:)

Guest 02-17-2016 08:38 AM

The hypocrisy of the political left is amazing. A grown man, say over 60 years of age, needs a pill just to do what he did years earlier, and they want "permission". But the same people think it is OK for a 13 year old girl to have an abortion without even notifying the parents. What a joke. The only assumption one can make is that whatever position Bernie takes, Hilary will stake one out even further left.

Guest 02-17-2016 09:04 AM

I guess someone was bored and figured that they would throw something out here and talk about the first thing that pops up.....:1rotfl:

Guest 02-17-2016 09:23 AM

Obviously, none of the posters bothered to read the reason this bill was written.

Go back, read it, and then post your comments.

Guest 02-17-2016 09:32 AM

It makes perfect sense to me - now that I know the reason for the introduction of the bill.

Make men undergo the same type of humiliating exams or "hoops to jump through" when getting their ED meds as a woman when she wants to exercise her reproductive rights.

Sounds like a sexist dart toss to me.

There is not even the remotest relationship or rationale or reason for comparison.

Since I don't use the stuff and never needed it, I am going to go out on the limb and suggest that since it is a prescription drug, that you need a doctor's exam before getting it. SO, why do you need another liberal @ss bill to add to the millions of other useless regulations?

SO, how does this bill address the new female viagra? Or, do females have rights to their own body and so it must be unconstitutional for them to have to undergo any exams?

Guest 02-17-2016 11:41 AM

My response is to the original post.
The subject is so :censored: stupid it is not worth any further effort.

I would say the same about the other bill it is in response to....another useless regulation against women.

Of course you are waiting for an answer. It's called being clueless. Are you a sexist? How do you know that this is mandated by "men?" You do know that there have been medical women for many years, right?

What does this have to do with women anyway? Are you suggesting that women have a right to their own body, but men do not?

This is cr@p anyway. What a waste of time.
