Who gets the drop outs votes?
It appears that Donald Trump has about 33% of the primary votes in his pocket. Not enough to win the nomination.
Considering Jeb's relationship with Rubio and both being from Florida, I would suspect most of his supporters to go to Rubio. This will put Rubio somewhere around 29% Kasich and Carson have about 15% between them. Even if they all went to Trump, it wouldn't be enough to secure the nomination. So where do these votes go? If they are split evenly, and I think that is highly unlikely, we'd have Trump at 38%, Rubio at 34% and Cruz at 27%. Does Cruz drop out if that's the case? If he does, his people are not going to support Trump. Rubio would almost certainly become the nominee. If he picks Kasich as his running mate, I believe the republicans win the White House easily over any democratic candidate. If Cruz decides to stay in we'll have a brokered convention. If it does, then Trump is certainly gone as the party will not support him. Trump's big problem is his negatives which are far higher than any candidate on either side. As the other's drop out, his share of the vote is not going to increase. Just my thoughts on what I'm witnessing. |
The actual R nominee is really irrelevant-
Both Clinton and Sanders easily beat any Republican |

Yeah, and you probably thought Etchy was going to win Rubio at the top of the ticket is a death sentence for the R's. This guy has many skeletons in his closet. Beginning with his meth dealing family. Expect Trump to make mention of it any day now |

Actually I want to go back before 2008, but we can't. Because, in my opinion it was at that time that our political and legal citizens lost their ever loving minds.
A precedent was set and a presidential candidate not properly vetted was allowed to proceed with the selection process. Legitimate questions concerning his eligibility and qualification emerged but the back room bosses ignored the rules of the game . Consequently, we again have candidates with serious questions of eligibility and qualifications to serve . Voters are actually clamoring for candidates that are ineligible, unqualified lunatics marxist and crooked. America has to be the laughing stock of the world I;m really sick and I;m really worried for this nation too many of us seem to have become unhinged. Personal Best Regards: |

But, no matter how the political system goes, the ignorant will ultimately give the politicians more power and control over their lives. It's just a matter of time. The lazier and spoiled our people get, the more control they will give to the government. |
I thought dropout votes was referring to high school dropouts, lol. Naturally those votes would go to Republicans.
