Glenn Beck says Trump = Hitler
 

Far right wing media personality, long time Fox News political entertainer and still seemingly important enough to be invited on network news Sunday shows, Glenn Beck pulled out a ballot from 1929 Germany with Adolph Hitler and exactly equated Trump to Hitler.

He opined that Trump and Hitler both express the anger and nationalism that was unspoken before they were willing to let it loose. Now with Beck, the SNL parody last eve, and the hand raised voting pledge (poor optics) the Trump is Hitler meme begins to spread into the topics of the day. Godwin's Law is reached. Of course there is this about Hitler too..

I really have a hard time with Beck, but he is absolutely correct. Just google Hitlers rise to power and you will find the same pitch being made on many of the same kind of issues

the difference is that Hitler was a Democrat, not a Republican. Of course, I have doubts about Trump being a Republican.

I love these repubs that pretend to be Christians and wear their American flag on their shirts and then spout hate like this. What hypocrites!

I believe that you have a deep seated hate for Christians because something in your life is convicting you of a special need. Advice, don't fight it. The more you fight it the more convicted you will become.

Glenn Beck says Trump is Hitler. Beck, also, said that Obama was Hitler. So, the logical conclusion is Trump is Obama.

Makes sense if A=B and C=B then A=C. A little fuzzy but I get it.

Once when Glenn Beck was doing a book signing in The Villages I asked someone who went to the book signing to tell Beck this "that every time I heard him speak, his monologue was so depressing, I thought about killing myself. Well the message was given and his reply "tell him (me) if he does kill himself it will be one less carbon foot print on earth" I laughed because that was the expected reply.

As to SNL never did believe much of what they did/do was/is funny or very creative, with a few exceptions Ratner, Martin, Murphy and a few others

This presidential election cycle has made us the laughing stock of the global world but then we have lived with that image since 2008.

Trump is no Hitler though. That disgraces the memory of all of Hitler's millions of victims. Trump is an opportunistic demagogue playing on fear and prejudice but I certainly doubt he has any gas chambers and the like planned for huge groups of people including those who stand up to him.

I do worry about this man's temperament and the prospect of nuclear war with China, Russian, Iran, Syria, the Taliban, ISIS, or some other power.

And the funny part of all of this, you haven't changed anything. I have never had any intention of voting for Trump unless he gets the nomination. And then, I would vote for a dead Republican over a live slime like Hillary or Sanders. You just don't get it. No one wants your candidates at all. They won't even turn out to vote. Bernie the socialist is hurting her only because the children are voting and he is bribing them with free ice cream. No one likes the wicked witch from D.C. Republican voter participation is up over 50% just because they don't want Hillary or the socialist for president. If you want to win, you need to get someone that isn't a criminal or a socialist to run for your party. We even have the Independent voters. Even if Trump only gets 33% of the total votes cast, he is getting over 50% of the normal Republican vote. That's if he gets the nomination and he can't get the Republican base to rally behind him. What is Hillary going to get when the voter turn out for the Dems is down 20%..??? Half of a total of 80% is only 40% of the Democrat vote.

None of this matters until November. She may be out of the picture by then. Trump may be out of the picture by then, too. Maybe Obama will write an E.O. saying there will be a moratorium on elections because the kind of czars is not happy.

But, you little trolls enjoy playing around with the seniors from the Villages. We have patience. After all, we are retired and not going anywhere real fast. It is you little trolls that have less of a future than we do.

How many times has Beck compared someone to Hitler? It's his standard line. Some say Beck is an idiot. I disagree, I think he's intelligent but just panders to the uneducated hateful people out there. Kind of like Trump; you know he Loves "the uneducated"

The next few weeks will be a blast watching all the crazies in the republican party (and that means the majority of them) attach each other. Couldn't happen to a nicer group of people. :)
