The Walking Dead.

The Walking Dead - The Official Site from Robert Kirkman

Any big fans of this show?

It certainly has been getting a lot darker in mood and outlook of late except for one episode that seemed more like black comedy. :bigbow:

I watch it every week. They need some tanks and APC's then move to Hilton Head, blowup the only bridge and end the show.

Jima64 03-07-2016 04:51 PM

I watch at the end of the season on netflix so I have to stay away from most fan sits.

mixsonci 03-08-2016 03:50 AM

I watch it every week and I also watch Talking Dead after each show. I love it.

buzzy 03-08-2016 08:14 PM

Wife and I watch weekly on DVR, and sometimes Talking Dead. Thought past Sunday's episode was too morbid, even for this show. What I don't understand is, if the comic book has been around for so many years, don't those readers know what is going to happen for all future episodes?

lanemb 03-08-2016 08:35 PM

Absolutely love it.

Without Downton Abbey it's The Walking Dead or Vinyl on HBO. And Vinyl is starting to remind me of Harvey Keitel's version of Bad Lieutenant.

You know that show was meant to represent the general populace, right?

I think it is supposed to represent Georgia demographically.

Never would anyone have convinced me that I would get so involved in a show about zombies but the survival aspect of Walking Dead is indeed captivating.

The Americans is back March 16th another favorite
Vikings on History station one of my favorite
Game of Thrones cool
Blindspot so so
The Outlander cool
Vinyl lead actor too much over acting hedonistic depiction a turn off . I watch and when the episode is done my reaction"why should I care"
Limitless entertaining well a distraction anyway

I'm watching this series since their first season.

asianthree 04-01-2016 02:37 AM

binge watch season at a time. So have not watched this season. Those who are heavily involved in comic have said how this season is straying, and how dark its becoming. Will wait to see it I continue

Last Walking Dead episode this Season is on Sunday with the arrival of Negan and the probably departure of a few main characters. I will not post spoilers though as I binge Season watch too for some shows like Black Sails.

Thanks, yesterday as people came in the break room first question was did you watch? If no discussion stops. That's true friends

I have a serious emotional attachment to the TWD characters, all of them. Last week's episode almost did me in and I know it's nothing compared to what's in store on Sunday! I'm not one of these "if Daryl dies, we riot" types, but I do hope he survives. I've never looked at the comic book, so the straying from THE story doesn't affect me. I think it's an awesome storyline and I binge-watched last summer when I accidentally came upon Sophia emerging from the barn. Die-hard ever since, plus it's one of the few things that my teenage daughter and I agree upon and enjoy doing together. Bonus!

Zombie movies. Garbage in, garbage out. My kids what that stuff and wonder why they can't sleep. Not entertainment at all. Garbage.

You should pick up The Iliad some time. Or large parts of The Bible.

Talk about creating nightmares. Or, Dante's Inferno or some of the bloodier Shakespeare plays like King Lear, Macbeth and Hamlet.

The comics are quite well done. The Lake County Library System used to have quite a lot of them but I guess they got worn out or some parents complained about their content and some librarians listened.

Fear the Walking Dead is good and I am a big fan of anything with Kim Dickens in it.

Happy BD to the actor who plays Negan. Jeffrey Dean Morgan - Rotten Tomatoes

Mr. Morgan is supposedly a very nice person in real life unlike many of the characters he plays. Jeffrey Dean Morgan Biography - Rotten Tomatoes
