Village07 is having surgery on her knee.

I feel sure that every single person who knows Village07, either by her posts, or in person, thinks highly of this warm genuine woman who is always dependable, kind and fair.

She is entering the hospital this week to have repairs done on her knee.

I am sending warm thoughts to her and wishing and hoping and praying that all goes well and she will soon be out and about and dancing again soon...and golfing and maybe even playing tennis!

F16 1UB 12-02-2008 06:58 AM

Must be the year for rehab. First Mr 07 with his arm and now 07 herself. Hope everything goes well as I am sure it will. The old saying "You can't keep a good thing down" comes into play. And play she will soon on the golf course. Thinking "GOOD" thoughts for you 07.

Mr & Mrs F16, Patience, and of course PIA Sadie too.

jojo 12-02-2008 07:25 AM

Good to hear she will be back on the tennis courts. My best.

Russ_Boston 12-02-2008 07:48 AM

A little surgery is not going to keep V7 off the golf course.

Good luck!

KathieI 12-02-2008 09:06 AM

Hey, 07, good luck pal... I'm sure it will all be okay and you'll be out golfing with DickY and Ronnie soon. Remember what I said the other day, if you get tired of Mr. 07's cookin, I'll bring over some lasagna....
Good luck, see ya soon!!! Kath

Get well soon.

Village07,
Prayers and warm wishes coming your way. Listen to your doctors as tennis is very hard on the knees-pool workouts are great!
GG is right about your personality. I pray everything goes well.

villages07 12-02-2008 10:25 PM

Thanks

Thank you all for your kind wishes. If I could bottle up all that positive energy, I might be back to golf and tennis in a week. Alas, it will take several months of work and rehab to get my new knee up to full strength. It's amazing what modern medicine can do. We are fortunate, indeed, to live in these times (and in this place!!!)

Under the knife Monday the 8th.... hope to be back online by Friday.

Until then...golf, swimming, walking, etc

(Hey Gracie...I never could dance before...do you think just by getting a new knee, I'll be able to???) :evil6:

Donna 12-02-2008 10:56 PM

007...

John and I wish you a speedy recovery!! Prayers headed your way!

Love ya,
Donna

Hey YES! I even have you signed up for Ballet class!

Love and hugs to you!

nONIE 12-03-2008 09:52 AM

Hey Gracie, better un-sign 07 for that ballet class. I tried it and thought oh this will be a cinch. Did this for years as a kid, no problem!!! I felt like an Aunt Annies pretzel that they double twisted and tied in a knot!! Cant figure out what happens to these old bones!!! did just fine 40 years ago! LOL

another case of "the mind is willing but the body is SHOT!";)

Tons of positive wishes going out to 07, my thoughts and prayers will be with you on Monday.

Rats! I ordered Tutu's for the bunch of us.

nONIE 12-03-2008 10:04 AM

Awww Gracie,ya think we could wear them at Easter for hats?

beady 12-03-2008 12:32 PM

Oh no , no tutu

Now that is a sight I'm not sure I'd want to see.....the bunch of us in tutu's....there aren't enough beads in the world to disguise me.
Thanks Nonie, for discouraging Gracie from that idea.:ohdear::ohdear::ohdear:

nONIE 12-03-2008 06:30 PM

Actually Beady, the thought did occur to me of holding ballet lessons on my lanai this winter. Cant you just see us tippy toeing around in our tutu's, Wonder what our golfing friends would think of us now!:1rotfl::1rotfl::1rotfl:

beady 12-03-2008 06:47 PM

Oh Nonie.....not the lanai

No doubt we would attract a crowd. Hahahahahaha. Let's just stick to belly dancing. The scarves strategically placed are a much better alternative to tutu's. I think:evil6::evil6:

renielarson 12-03-2008 06:49 PM

Ballet lessons might be fun but please don't invite these fellas

http://th262.photobucket.com/albums/...ld/th_tutu.jpg

Hoping for a quick recovery 07. Hurry back to us as soon as you can!

graciegirl 12-03-2008 06:54 PM

Bright! How did Nancy's new knee get political???

renielarson 12-03-2008 07:11 PM

OOOOOOOH, sorry GG.
http://th251.photobucket.com/albums/...dManInTutu.jpg
Don't invite this fella either!
Hahahaha

Barefoot 12-03-2008 07:19 PM

Seven, don't forget to let us know if you feel like having visitors.

We'll even wear the tutu's that GG ordered for us. That should fill the hospital halls with laughter. :yuck:

TV MAN 12-03-2008 08:47 PM

Get well soon Village07. Lot's of dancn left to do in life, espcl @ the squrares.:pepper2:

Peachie 12-03-2008 09:53 PM

'07, I'll be keeping you in my thoughts on the 8th and hope you have an excellent recovery. Our neighbor here had both knees replaced at the end of this September and is now walking their two adorable dogs around the block in the snow. She feels the demanding recovery and physical therapy were so worth the effort, she has her mobility back! Please keep us posted when you are feeling social again.

Niels 12-03-2008 10:16 PM

Best Wishes!

Villages07

Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Niels

Hope to meet you this winter!

Village07, we haven't met yet and hope to meet you this winter. One thing I do know, when Village07 talks, I listen. You are a wealth of knowledge and have educated me through the forum.

Get well soon.

Peggy D 12-04-2008 04:06 PM

V 07

Hope everything goes well.

RCT 12-04-2008 04:39 PM

As busy as 07 is, I am glad I don't have to live under the same roof when she is rehabbing. Will probably be a monster, chomping at the bit!!
Oh, and Fumar said she owes him money!!
But seriously........well, forget it, anyone that knows me knows that I am rarely serious, so why should I attempt to now???
I have no doubts she will be back in the swing of things in no time.
