We as a country have managed to circle the drain for the last seven years, we can probably continue to circle it for four more.

Four years, plus seven years, plus eight years under Bill Clinton. When was the last time republicans won the popular vote for president? Was it 1988? That's coming up on 28 years, correct?

Yes, but you have to admit, the Republicans have cornered the old, white, racists and the American nazi party, and the KKK vote.

And lucky you. You have cornered the bottom 47% of the earners, the minorities, the gay deviants, the pedophiles, the illegal aliens, the socialists, the unemployed and the lazy. Oh, and the majority of Hollywood. But, it is interesting that Hillary is causing you to lose a substantial portion of the female vote.

Oh, and we must not forget the EX-CON vote.

They're not 47% any more! Minority kids are now 51% of school children and the number keeps rising. The "party of deviants" is now the majority.

YOU allowed this nation to be LOST.

Not me, I taught my children right from wrong. I have never voted for a Democrat that is intent on ruining America. And I do not have the money to influence politics.

As much as I respect Bush, I give him inadvertent credit for part of America's downfall, with his tax cuts to the lower 47%. Like other things that Republicans have done in the past, our attempt to help the unfortunate has come back to bite us in the butt. When ever we do something to help the unfortunate, the Dems take credit for it, and then the downfall begins. Republicans are responsible for most of the things that have helped the minorities and the lower class in our country, but the Dems are rewarded for it. The Dems start most of the wars, that the Republicans have to fix, and the Dems are the demonstrators. The Republicans freed the slaves and passed civil rights laws and the Dems try to take credit for it.

Well, that is life and that is Rome and now Greece. WE have history to prove what decadence will do to a country. Our turn.

Good for you for not supporting Democrats...but the Republicans are just as bad, they spend just as much money, our money. The stuff they push and fund is just different stuff. You shouldn't support either party. I know what they'll tell you, then THEY will win. Not if we ALL decide not to vote for 4 more years of corruption and vote libertarian. Just until we can really fix the political "industry" because an industry is what it has become.

How right you are...it's the same EVERY time in the "West". A nation rises, matures, then falls. Then on to the next that rises, matures, then falls. Who's turn is it next? We're on the way down, we're falling and we can't get up! Why? Demographics. More takers than makers.

Who will be the next nation to rise and fall?

We could make it even simpler. Divide the world into two types; those rising and improving; those falling and degenerating.

USA = falling and degenerating....top of the list.

And it ALL is caused by "equal rights". Equal rights is what destroyed the fabric of our society. What worked for millions of years was wiped out with a fallacy. Women aren't equal to men and men aren't equal to women. Blacks aren't equal to whites and whites aren't equal to blacks. We're different, very different. Work with it, not against it. We're just shooting ourselves in the foot when we lower the standards to get this or that group "in".

We need to stop all this "slavery guilt" crap and proclaim: You don't work in the garden, you don't eat. EVERYONE who wants to eat WILL do something. And believe me, you're going to want a job after see what we're going to have you doing. The city is going to SPARKLE! "When is lunch?" When your toothbrush is worn to the handle.

We're going to hell. We're literally turning 3rd world. More than half the new school children are "dark". We're no longer the majority. Can you speak spanish or jive? Better learn. Why are we letting this happen?

It is easy to see that the poster is just baiting with these "blacks are not equal to whites" posts.

Even in backward communities like Farmersburg, Iowa or Wormville, Mississippi, the people have more intellectual sense than that.

Actually, the gist of the post was nobody is equal to anybody else. We're all different and each has their own strengths and weaknesses. We should use those differences to our advantage and not fight nature.

What part wasn't true?

What part wasn't true? You slam someone, call them a name, back it up. What wasn't true?

Why should someone who refuses to work, eat? Why should some people be allowed to live off of another's labor? Why should we be forced to work for others?

The country ISN'T going down hill? Isn't going down in world rankings? There aren't more minority children than white children entering public school? This won't effect the entire country and our way of life?

WHAT part isn't true?

Why is it racist to speak the truth?

There's only a right to "free speech" if it agrees with you. Agrees with your ideology. Isn't hurtful. Doesn't blame anyone.

It didn't work for our earliest form of socialism, the Mayflower Compact, or in Jamestown in the 1600's.

"The aphorism is found in the Second Epistle of Paul the Apostle (with Silvanus and Timothy) to the Thessalonians, in which Paul writes:

εἴ τις οὐ θέλει ἐργάζεσθαι μηδὲ ἐσθιέτω

that is,

If anyone is not willing to work, let him not eat"

Of course, then you have the socialist view:

"Leon Trotsky wrote that: "The old principle: who does not work shall not eat, has been replaced with a new one: who does not obey shall not eat." (this is probably more on the level of Bernie Sanders view too)

I watched the interview and no where did Koch say he would vote for Hillary. He was saying that he was disappointed in today's candidates and the whole campaign, period. When he was asked if he would support Hillary, he said she would have to change a whole lot before he could think of supporting her. Hillary is the one that said she didn't want his support when someone mentioned the interview. He never offered it. Man, was this taken out of context and perverted.

Dear Guest: You are not going to win over the radical progressive mind because they are so caught up in their ideology that there isn't any intellectual room for debate. Its why Obama has lead this nation down the path to perdition.

Radical progressive do not believe in our three Articles of Freedom because they have been replaced by socialist doctrine

Radical progressives have been very active in re-writing American history to their liking

Radical progressives have radical Hollywood people to carry their message across every movie theater, television set and live theater in this nation

Koch said:
"We would have to believe her actions would be quite different than her rhetoric. Let me put it that way," he said on ABC's "This Week" Sunday.

This means she would need to change her position to get their support.

"But on some of the Republican candidates we would -- before we could support them, we'd have to believe their actions will be quite different than the rhetoric we've heard so far."

This means they would need to change their position to get their support.

The very rich will make the policy and if you want their money you will go along with it. Koch's financially support congress. You get more for your money that way.

That line today, with 50 million people on food stamps, would be 9,500 MILES long! That "recovery" we paid $10 trillion ($10,000,000,000,000) for is really working out well...

When the minimum wage goes up there will be less on food stamps. Of course every business that uses minimum wage employees will raise their prices. That will be the newest complaint. It will cost more for you to live here.

how does the minimum wage increase affect the number of those on food stamps?

If it is dependent upon the minimum allowed to be earned closing out some, I do not think that will affect the number with any significance.
If prisoners can gigure out how to file phony tax returns with pgony SS numbers I am sure the food stamp members can be just as creative.

And the government would not intervene because it would not want to be seen as the reason for someone not getting or continuing their freebies.

The issue will resort to the new norm.....lack of enforcement....hence no fear!

In other words you didn't bother o read the link.
I'll give you a quote that sums it up.

"When companies pay too little for workers to provide for their families, workers rely on public assistance programs to meet their basic needs," Ken Jacobs, chair of the labor center and co-author of the new report, said in a statement. "This creates significant cost to the states."

If you think about it why would any intelligent , well educated , competent manager who is an honest person want the job !!
Please don`t tell us about how much money they can make after serving in the job . The fact is a highly competent hard driving person could earn more in 8 years w/out all the pressure and the constant criticism .
Look at the folks who read the news off a teleprompter each day on CNN or Fox . They are making several million a year .

Yes, isn't it lovely when idiots tell others why someone fails in life. I have no sympathy for anyone that fails to support their family properly. If I can do it and succeed then anyone can. I worked three jobs to pay my bills and support my family when I was young. Wife and four kids. And three of them went to private school, because my wife worked there and was with them the whole time. I didn't worry about pride when I was cleaning bathrooms and offices, and didn't think twice about working all night as a security guard until I got on my feet. My kids still don't realize how poor we were, and just making ends meet. But, I refused food stamps and welfare. I figured that I would be a failure if I accepted help from the arrogant government. When I retired, I was making six figures and two of my children had graduated from college. If you want to ruin a man, tell him that he is a failure and that he should take help from the gov in the form of food stamps and welfare. That is how you take away his incentive to succeed. Take away his motivation and you might as well shoot him.
