Paul Ryan Does Not Endorse Donald Trump Just Yet.

The Highest Ranking Republican Just Refused to Endorse Donald Trump–For Now | Mother Jones

Unless the clown act which is Donald Trump abandons many of the positions he took to obtain so many votes, he will probably not get the backing of many of the Establishment Republicans.

Let's see how Donald Trump can lie his way out of this.

I would rather have no support from the Establishment than ANY...are you so ignorant that you can not comprehend that the "establishment" is what we are collectively sick of? You think that ignorant jag Sanders supporters give a tip about the "establishment"? The fact is, with out the "establishment's" Super Delegates Clinton would be getting her ass handed to her....but then again, libs almost never let the facts get in the way of their failures in life - starting typically with their education and comprehension.

Republicans who have to run for reelection are keeping their distance from Trump, for instance Ryan, John McCain, Kelly Ayotte, Susan Collins. Those endorsing him are not running and/or looking for a job; ie Mike Huckabee.

More and more establishment GOP are declining to attend the convention like Bush 41 and Bush 43, Mitt Romney, and John McCain.

You seem to fail to have a valid point. Though he made it past the "recall", Ryan - as of today is DONE...Madison, Milwaukee and Green Bay will be certain of that...rural WI cant save him after his actions today, and no not about Trump ...the following DESTROYS him (thanks to the lazy left)

Gov. Scott Walker has approved a rule implementing drug screening requirements for unemployment benefits.

The rule implements provisions in the state budget. Under the rule, those who fail an employer drug test or refuse to take one can be denied unemployment benefits. Those who fail would get taxpayer-funded treatment.

Walker announced the new rule Wednesday, saying it brings the state one step closer to moving residents from government dependence to independence.

The rule will take effect later this week.

Donald Trump will need Establishment Republicans on his side if he plans to do much of anything if he gets elected President. He can do very little through Executive Orders working along unless he wants an Impeachment Trial soon after getting in office which might happen anyway if any fair result comes out of the Trump University massive fraud.

Another goal met. "Establishment GOP's" as noted are where the problem is, and why the Republican Party of the politically correct and corrupt is on the way out. The entire political system needs detoxification, so establishment Republicans better get on board cause the train is leaving the station.

This is awkward to say the least, since Paul Ryan is chairman of the convention that will nominate a candidate he can't support.

"Aliens ate my brain"?

Or am I thinking of another publication?

Is it supposed to be a big deal if the members of the establishment do not support Trump.

The big deal is that Trumps success is founded on the fact he is a threat to the establishment!!!

Some may not like how he may say things but most of us like what he says!

The silent majority has a candidate.

And we are not impressed with the establishments reactions.
How do you expect a threatened species to behave?

You Can Take That To The Bank

Tell me what is the truth about the Trump v Republican Establishment debate?

Tell me why this is about all these politicians and their threats of loss of power money and prestige?

Tell me why so called savvy politicians have little foresight or seem to care that they risk not only losing the presidential slot but many governor senate and congressional races because they prefer throwing a tantrum?

I am disappointed in Ryan, Bush Bush Koch brothers etc and wondering why they are acting so irresponsibly?

Why would any Republican state that they would vote for Hillary Clinton: that's like the pope saying he is embracing satan.

Tell me what is true about Trump? He can take 7 different positions on one issue in one answer?

There is room at the table for every Republican. My hope is that Ryan and Trump are smart enough to work out a policy agenda that works for the American people.

My hope is that Trump makes some smart choices about his cabinet picks and he let's the GOP people know who they are before the convention.

The only thing I can say is thank God we are talking about a presidential race and not an enemy attack on our soil because this country's leadership is AWOL

Personal Best Regards:

Someone needs to take Donald Trump aside and explain to him how our government works. Speaker of the House Ryan sets the agenda. It is the Ryan budget, not the president's budget.

Trump relies on his low-information voters to elect him. Turns out, he is a low-information voter himself.

Guest 05-06-2016 02:03 PM

Ryan is a full fledged establishment insider.
His not supporting Trump is nothing more than a political tactic allowing for him to be drafted as a potential candidate.

Remember how loudly he claimed he was not interested in the speakers job!!

So if I understand many of the posters on this thread they do want to throw the baby out with the bath water.

Let's just blow it all up because were "mad as hell and we ain't goin take it anymore".

Let's follow the logic that hotter head prevail.

Let's stir up angry protests .

Let's argue about the leading Democrat and Republican presidential nominees who both have registered as the most unfavorable candidates ever to run for office.

What a country!

You can be ticked off as much as you want, but, don't forget, there is much, much more at stake. i.e., THE SUPREME COURT!!! OBAMACARE!!! TRADE!!! IMMIGRATION!!! FREE SPEECH!!! ETC. You may be at odds with Trump but the alternative of a BHO third term is so much worse.

Actually, we should and eventually will have to blow it all up because the system is unsustainable. 50 million on food stamps? The "minority poor" baby boom, they're the majority now from 1st grade on down. They can't run it and we can't keep supporting them.

What do you suggest? Kick the can for 4 more years?

Now we can add Jeb Bush to the growing list. That makes Trump 0-3 for the Bush family, but Dick Cheney is supporting him.

The list of GOP senators not supporting Trump is growing. It now includes Lindsey Graham, Jeff Flake and the senator from NE.

Funny thing is, that they didn't support Cruz either. That is until it was just Cruz against Trump. So, they will get on board once it is just Trump against Killary. It is just their egos because of what he said about them that is getting in their way right now. If someone called you a loser, would you kiss his ring? The only losers are the GOP that fail to support their Republican candidate in the general election, regardless of their dislike for him personally. If they can't see beyond their dislike to support their party candidate, then they do not deserve future consideration on any issue.

No, he is Donald Trump. Folks can complain all they wish, but the majority want him to represent them as a GOP candidate. If he gets elected president, then the majority of voters want his to be president. I don't like Obama and never voted for him, but he got the majority of votes.

Everyone hates congress and hates the government, but when we have an anti-establishment candidate, they suddenly want the "old establishment" guys' endorsement. Sorry, but he got his shot fair and square, and now deserves just as much respect as anyone else shooting for the position. You can hate him all you wish but he is better equipped to work with both parties than any other candidate, other than perhaps Kasich.
