There are four living former Presidents (two Democrats and two Republicans) as well as the sitting President. None of them support Donald Trump. That's called bipartisanship.

Perhaps America should pay attention to the people who actually know what the job entails.

First you have the two Bush's who are pi**ed off Jeb didn't get past first base in the primaries. then you have the feckless Jimmie Carter, Bill (Slick Willie) Clinton, & lastly the always impartial Barack Hussein Obama. Actually, I believe that the Bush's will vote for Trump, even if they are ticked off at him for his insults. I can't believe that with what is at stake in the next term, that they would allow their egos impede their loyalty to the Republican party. Bush W appears to be a very/very patriotic person. Even if they would not allow Trump to know that they are voting for him, they will still vote party line.

Trump has won his candidacy fair and square against 16 politicians/doctor and he has also bested Bush's voter turnout and the primary isn't even over as far as the votes are concerned. Like him or not, he is championing the Republican party. Conservative or not, he has the following/votes. And unless Biden steps in to relieve Hillary, Trump WILL win the general election. It is just the same old vote for the lesser of evils again.

That's just my opinion and just one of many on here.

No, I do not believe that patriotism is defined as "taking orders." That is called obedience. My definition of patriotism is actions that reflect that you love/are proud of/are loyal to your country.

Patriotism is synonymous with loyalty to one's country. Conservatism reflects a love of the American Way. Socialism is not American. Never has been. It has always been a trait of European controlling system. Not all Republicans are conservative but you will be hard pressed to find Democrats that are still conservative. Most are liberal, a synonym for socialist.

So yes, voting party line in this case IS patriotic because you are putting Country first, not yourself.

When you put your country before your party, that is patriotic. We agree.

Patriotism is a misplaced love in these times. Your government is nothing but stealing violent criminals. Your country is being overrun by minorities and you'll soon be the minority yourself. There's not much to love outside the villages. It's becoming pretty seedy out there.
