Darn, we're going to miss it again. We'll be flying back home to the Villages on that date from an extended Christmas visit to NJ. Cold and damp here.

Regards to all at the luncheon

We are back in NY where the temps at below freezing and we had 5" of snow last night.

My wife and I are coming down for a lifestyle visit from 5-11 Feb....hoping that this will be our last 'visit" before becoming TV'ers this year......we would both like to meet other TOTV's during that time......and are hoping that the Feb meeting will be held when we are there.

We figure that by the 3rd Friday in March we will have been able to dig ourselves out of the snow so we can get to Crispers! Only 2 more to miss. I'll have to make due with the pictures I guess. Have fun everyone.

Linda, I think no pictures this Friday, we don't want to spoil your vision of what our weather should be... brrrrrrr, !! :cus:

Doug and Lyn are planning on being there. I know that she will blame me for tellilng you it is her birthday. Kathie do you think a solo from Gene would be appropritate. I will deny anything abuot this email as I do not look forward to 'cold shoulder and hot tongue' for supper. She is nice and would never do that but would certainly get me back in bigger and better ways.

Today in honor of your gathering, I will have a mug of hot coffee, with sweet-n-low and vanilla spiced rum creamer, close my eyes and pretend I am there.

I'm working at the firehouse today and it is minus 20 degrees windchill, zero temp. Maybe we can make the May gathering..we'll be down there then. Enjoy!!

When I'm in town, I always remind the Crispers Manager a few days before the gathering that TOTV peeps will be arriving at 3 PM. Sometimes he arranges to have extra staff on hand.
I love sitting outdoors at Crispers. Some of us may want to wear down-filled jackets and still enjoy the patio. :cold:

Good idea Bare, maybe we'll get an afternoon reprieve like we did the other day and it will get warm enough for us to sit outside. Its so much nicer than inside. No down jacket for me, but I'll layer my clothes and try to sit outside too. Its really cold today though. See ya later.

I love Crispers. I love getting together with TOTV'rs. I am NOT sitting on the patio in the cold. You guys will take pictures and everyone will be frowning because they are chilly. I am going to Lake Miona Rec center and play Bingo and think about you. I will miss you all and cry onto my Bingo cards.
