All of this constant carnage is brought to us proudly by the Liberals who have managed to destroy the very fabric of family life and the dignity of the once proud Black Father thru their many decades of misguided " Government Programs " .

Prior to the introduction of LBJ`s " Great Society " Programs the % of " out of wedlock births " in the Black community and White community were about the same . However in less than a decade the % of babies born to single Black Mothers has sky-rocketed . There is NO MORE Black Family in the traditional sense .
Young Black males have no strong male role model in their homes . Black " families " are now headed by " Big MA-MA' [ grand-mother ].
The only strong male in the lives of these young boys is the Preacher .
By age 13 too many young Black Males have turned to the streets and local gangs for their role models and " family " . And we all know too well the net result of this new " modern " dare I say Progressive Culture in the Black Community .

If it is conservatives providing the guns to criminals, why is there too many liberals? After all, according to your theory, all these deaths should be liberals. And I am sure that all these hundreds of thousand babies killed by abortion every year are mostly liberals too. Perhaps, you will blame abortions on Conservatives also?

YOu are correct, the NRA has nothing to do with the gun violence in America. And if you knew anything you would realize that the states that have CCW laws have lowered crime rates. The gang shootings are illegally purchased guns.

As for abortions, I am afraid you will be disappointed. The majority of abortions are on liberals, therefore it's not a waste after all.

Idiotic statement. Too many ILLEGAL guns, and the law abiding people are not able to arm themselves. Then again, easy for ignorant old codgers from Florida to pass judgement. The fact is that they KNOW that there are MANY others around here with legal guns, know they will be protected and know they will take out bad guys...

As much as I would like to agree with you, I have to remind myself that in every ghetto there is always at least one worthy individual. I have a great friend that grew up in Harlem, fatherless. He obtained his Masters Degree, served in the armed forces, and retired from two consecutive careers. He raised two great and contributing children, even after losing his wife to brain cancer. He is a success story and a good person and it has been an honor being considered his friend.

So, all rhetoric aside, and as much as it is easy to say, bomb the ghetto, gas the ghetto, burn the ghetto...I can't offhandedly make that kind of statement. It all has to do with self-reliance and self-discipline. The majority of ghetto inhabitants prefer to use their environmental plight as a crutch/excuse for their failures, but if one can put the ghetto behind, then there is hope for anyone else that wishes to strive to better themselves.

If you are here your position in life should have been on solid ground prior to the last 8 years. I am sure you were not "broke" 8 years ago and because of Obama you struck it rich since 2008. Most working citizens have not been that fortunate in the last 8 years. Just remember that "your" President stated about your life, great job, great house, 2 cars, and golf cart: "If you've got a business-you didn't build that. Somebody else made that happen". So who made it happen for you?

Here is the update from the Chicago Press : As of 3 PM today Sunday the weekend count is 23 shot and 7 dead .

At least 3 of the 23 are in critical condition.

Clearly what is needed are more Government Programs .

You can only thank Obama for the great increase in gun

Wow ! The Chicago Tribune site now reports that as of 1:30 PM today there have been over 40 shootings in Chicago this weekend .

I think that this is outside of any number anyone has chosen in the pool .

I guess I use to drive 400-500 hours a year. I'm still here. If being shot at 400-500 hours a year. I don't think I would be here.
