Brexit
And Cameron resigns. This is going to be interesting. What does everyone think?
My opinion is that the majority of Brits are tired of the liberal policies of the EU. |

So a new government can decide NOT to leave the union?
It wasn't a binding vote I believe. If the powers that be don't want to leave, they'll go kicking and screaming delaying the whole process. They'll ask for a re-vote with a few added "sweeteners" for the public. |

Closer to home Dow futures are down over 500 points. Much worse overseas.

Even if they must endure a time of hardship, they will have their freedom from Europe. The refugee problem was the straw that broke their backs and they wanted to be done with it. It will have an impact on us also, but better their freedom than to have to continue to be lorded over by an inferior group of needy countries of Europe. They'll be OK in the long run and still have control of their own country. Their economy will take a big hit, especially when big business moves out.

is brexit binding? at DuckDuckGo |
And the interesting aspect of this vote was the odds makers had the "remain" winning. Another reason not to count Trump out just because of our bookies.

Apparently the world has forgotten what all the countries were before they were sold a bill of goods called the EU.
Somehow they all survived as soverign countries for hundreds of years without the world cracking and frazzling. It is good to see the people of their respective countries rise up and fight back against centalized governments that forgot what their tasks were in being united. Hopefully the same rising up of the masses will do the same here in the USA in November. Down with the useless, over burdened, ever growing government that forgot who the work for/represent!!! |

Britain accounts for only 4% of the world economy...eventually the brokers will come to their senses and stop the panic and then things will resume to growth, just like it has with past declines. Buyer's market this morning? |
Bully for the Brits! Congratulations for taking their country back! It's just a preview of what will happen here!
Brits were being dictated by 40,000 EU officials in Brussels that were not elected. They were being told they could not use electric tea pots, toasters, blow dryers and toaster ovens! Huh? Their neighborhoods are being taken over by immigrants. The middle class there are losing their jobs and being forced to pay for the welfare of all the immigrants including socialized medicine. Over half of the laws on the books were dictated by Brussels like criminals could not be sent to their home country because they a a Brit girlfriend? The British middle class response to the stock market going down in Britain? "We can't afford to have any money in the stock market so why would we care?" Any experienced investor here knows this is a buying opportunity not a crying opportunity! A 3% to 4% correction is peanuts! European countries have been losing their unique identities and heritage. The kooks in Brussels have been jamming their liberal ideas on a proud people. Britain is the first and I bet not the last to take their country back! I guess they have a not so silent majority too! Hooray for the Brexit! |
Our next exit opportunity is now only 6 months away!
OBAMA-Exit!!! THANK GOD!!! |
