Chuck Farrell is now my provider
I just has a wonderful experience. My AC went out in the early morning hours this morning. I called Munns, my AC service provider for nearly 20 years. Munns could not come to my home until 2 PM to 4PM and has a $85 diagnostic charge ( this is just to tell me what is wrong).
I decided to call Chuck Farrell, this AC service company has received many rave reviews on TOTV. I was able to talk directly with Mr. Farrell. In conclusion, a repairman was at my home within 10 minutes, and a very reasonable fee for the repairs of only $130. I am now a true Chuck Farrell fan, and he will get all my future service needs. :pepper2::bowdown |
So, what took you so long to see the light? Chuck is truly one of the good guys.

Our A/C went out last summer and we called Chuck in the morning. Had never used him before but read all the recommendations. He answered his cellphone himself, said wait a minute while I pull over. He copied down the info and had one of his men at my house in a couple of hours.
His man arrived on time in about two hours, and found that the compacitor had gone out on the outside unit. He replaced with a new one. Checked the freon and it was fine. Paid him $85 and he was on is way. Great Service!! |
CHUCK IS THE BEST OF THE BEST, HE SERVICED OUR HOME FOR THE PAST (12) years, TOP OF THE LINE.

Chuck Farrell is our go to AC guy also. Excellent, fast service and fair prices! He won't do or suggest anything that doesn't need to be done immediately. Great guy!

Does he do installs of mini split systems?

Chuck Farrell is the best!!!!
I thought I had a problem as friends came over and I lower the temperature for them. The A/C didn't budge one degree downward for a long time. It was comfortable for me but....it was another hot day outside. Chuck came over and he checked out the A/C, It was working with the right pressures but indicated I would need to replace my unit down the road as it had a foot on the banana peel and a foot in the coffin. He explain with high temperatures lately, some A/C's have trouble getting to the lower temps. Chuck is honest and always gives a fair price. I wouldn't use anyone else. I will use Chuck to replace the A/C in the winter months. |

Thanks, I just left word again. It is now 4:20 and it is 92 in my home. That's slightly warmer than I prefer. :)
The post says 2:21. Any idea why the posted time would be so different from the actual time? ted |
A/C was having trouble keeping up on hottest days so called Chuck for an ounce of prevention. A little low on Freon but system in good shape....Chuck is the best !!!!!

It's now 8:24 and it's dropped from 92 to 86 in my house. Haven't heard from Chuck. Beginning to think that he might be on vacation, since he seems to have responded more quickly to the others on here? I'll wait until mid-morning tomorrow before calling anyone else. The only reason I haven't called another is because of the extreme pleasure that is shown on here for him. I was in real estate for 41 years and had a great set of "subs" that I referred my clients to so I understand the importance of "the referral". I will do a follow-up post once my situation has been resolved. Thanks for all who have responded.

Success and cooling down now. I called Chuck again around 8:15 this morning. He returned my call around 8:38. Mike, one of his technicians called me around 9:49 and said he had one other stop before mine. He showed up around 11:15, said that Chuck's wife finally convinced him not to return calls on Sunday (with which I actually agree), he replaced a capacitor and was gone before noon. I will refer his company in the future. BTW, Chuck now has 5 technicians in addition to himself and they are busy.

I know of several instances, including my own system, where start capacitors have failed on systems that are about 2 years old. I wonder about the quality of these parts.
