I'm not a veteran nor do I know much about military strategy but I am an expert at paying federal income taxes and had 44 years of experience doing so before I retired. I'm very curious how much we have paid for each bad guy or Isis fighter we have killed in the last 14 years. My guess is it is well over $20,000.00 a piece. Isis does not own a battleship of any kind, no fighter jets (not even a Piper Cub), no tanks, no Pentagon, no airbases, etc. Two weeks ago a lone radical Muslim killed 49 Americams and wounded as many. I have no idea what the cost to tax payers will be for all the police response that was required to stop him or the medical cost for all the wounded. He spent at most $1500.00 for his firearms and 250.00 for ammo. We have lost thousands of our own soldiers and have added thousands to those disabled for life. We have thousands with PTSD with no ides what the cost will be. On top of that we have paid for none of it, just passed it off to our grandchildren. Can someone tell me what I am missing.

Big government doesn't do anything in an efficient cost effective manner, so your figures are most likely way to low!

What do you want? Is there a question there, other than "what's wrong with me?" that you seem to be asking? I doubt anyone can answer that part. If you are suggesting that war and law enforcement are too expensive so we should just ignore terrorism, then you do have a problem. America is weak, due to liberal pacifists. As ugly as war is, the best way to win is to allow the military to do their own thing. They know how to win wars. It is what they train for. It is why young men enlist, to win. Not to be nation building. When you have someone that wars against you, then you retaliate by crushing them with your power. You will have far less war if you show your might than if you try to talk to them. Muslims, in particular do not respect weakness and will take advantage of it. No one likes war, but we hate seeing our people die when that could have been avoided by crushing the opposition. The problem with our liberals is that they do not live in reality. They live like everyone wants to live in a dream world. The fact is that if they would get out of the way, our country would be safe again. Our military does not enjoy killing people, but they are good at it. We will have less or OURS dying if we allow them to do the job they trained to do. ALL of our military members volunteered/joined to fight for their country. That is what they prepare to do every day of their enlistment. War is hard and someone has to die. Let those that die be on the other side. Yes, civilians are collateral damage. You can't fight a war without civilian casualties. That's life, that's war. Accept it and quit making our military feel guilty for collateral damage.

If you want more bang for your tax money, then tell the gov to quit tying our military hands behind our backs and let them do what they were trained to do.

You can't fight a "civilized" war. It never ends well. Rome started doing it and it cost them their empire. We're doing it and it's costing us our empire.

To "win" a war...everyone on the other side dies. Otherwise, you'll be dealing with them forever. Survivors hate you and want you gone. As the survivors grow in number, they slowly change the culture BACK to what they had before you came. Empires over extending is what causes their downfall. We're over extended.

It's a reason "they're" pushing for the one world order. One world government with the same rules everywhere. The one world order is being pushed by those who control the huge multinationals. They want an open world. Unfortunately, that also opens the floodgates for "refugees" fleeing to a better life, in a better place...that unfortunately causes it to become just like where they left.

As long as the natives remain, you haven't won the war. And you'll NEVER win the hearts and minds of the conquered. They all need to go if you want to win.

The Muslims had conquered all on N Africa, Spain, and were into France when the Crusades occurred. They drove the Muslims back into the ME. We are in a modern day struggle with Muslims today as they again, try to invade Europe. Why? Because we didn't win the war, we didn't kill them all. It's the only way to "win" a war.

We don't "war" to win a war, we "war" to change "unfriendly"governments to "friendly" governments who will work with the global banks and corporations. We "war" for profits. "War is a racket", a money making racket.

Providing sources would substantiate you findings or opinion. That's why bibliographies are necessary in professional writings.

We have a President that is Muslim, changed his name so he could follow the religion of Islam, then declares he is a Christain for election purposes. He constantly belittles Christians for our feelings about Muslim's in general, yet he never belittles the Muslim's that treat women and girls in unspeakable ways, and refused to utter the words "radical Islamic extremists". To put a realistic twist on an old saying, "he is a Muslim in Christian clothing." This is not the leader we need to fight our battles.

No, the American politicians ran us out of Vietnam. That war could have easily been won if not for civilian politicians sticking their noses into it. They did not allow us to fight the war properly, tying our hands behind our backs when the enemy was not held to the same limitations. Anyone over there saw it, and knew it was a lost cause because of the liberals back in America. Most of the damage was done by Johnson, especially when he stopped the bombing of Hanoi. It didn't help any when the Johnsons had investments in Vietnam. Vietnam is an entirely different issue than today's fight against terrorism. A liberal will never understand war because they sit back and enjoy the fruits of patriots dying for them.
