TOTV Feb lunch pictures

TOTV Feb lunch pictures will be posted shortly. I'm working on them now.

We had a great turn out, lots of new peeps and plenty of the "old" ones. Lots of chatter and hugs and warm greetings. Seems like they get better and better every month.

Hope to be done with the pictures late tonight. Thanks all for coming, don't know about you, but I HAD A GREAT TIME!!!!! :pepper2:

KathieI 02-20-2009 11:41 PM

Sorry for the delay folks, apparently there are only so many photos you can put in an album per person and I've reached my limit. So I'm learning photobucket as we speak, and I'm hoping to post a link tomorrow for a slide show. This is difficult for me, where's Johnny M when I need him........HELP!!!

Ok, I promise tomorrow you'll see them.

KathieI 02-21-2009 12:18 AM

Thank you, Kathie,

I got up really early to let the geriatric dog out. No coffee yet. Anyway, I was not expecting a slide show, and you should have seen me trying to figure out how to slow it down so I could focus long enough to see the pictures. I am really uncoordinated, but this early in the morning, it's almost a lost cause. But I did it, finally. Glad I was not on camera. It took me a while.

And I have Photobucket issues. I know it is because I quickly lose interest in reading directions. I was going to post a picture of my geriatric dog. Actually a picture of my geriatric dog on my tile floor in some thread about tile a while back. But I gave up.

So anyway, you really take good pictures. (I often cut off people's heads.) And congratulations on making that slide show. You sure do good work.

And, btw, I really like Da Sgt's shirt.

Thanx Kathie!

You did a fabulous job!!!

KathieI 02-21-2009 08:07 AM

Thanks for all the complements, it was very hard. I need lessons from Johnny M, I was trying to increase the size and add music until about 1:30 am and I just couldn't do it. But if Johnny gives me some clues on how to improve them, I will. Thanks, can't wait for the day when you all can be there too.

njgranny 02-21-2009 08:12 AM

meriboo 02-21-2009 08:45 AM

Thanks Kathie,

Great pictures..... just another reason that we are wannabees. I'm getting tired of looking at the available homes to purchase when nothing is selling by us.....It is torturing me!!!!

Boomer 02-21-2009 08:47 AM

Kathie, Kathie, Kathie,

What ya talkin'? "improve them"???? Stopitstopitstopit. You take wonderful pictures. You always catch everybody looking so great and so happy.

I do know what you mean about the frustration level with not being able to do what you want with the pictures, really fast. I truly have no patience with the process. I wish somebody would post directions here that are aimed at people like me. Directions that assume the reader knows nothing. Really clear directions that are relatively short, too. And then whoever does that should pretend to be me and then try to follow the directions.

I know it is bad of me, but if I can't just go point, click, admire, then I am toast and I just quit. I don't know what kind of learning curve that is called in Ed Psych classes, but I just call it my, "If you can't get it the first time, :cus: it" learning curve. I have a couple of things that I would love to do one of those slide shows of. (Like that'll ever happen.)

But Kathie, you got the slide show done, and your pictures are great, and then you say you need to "improve"?????? Oh Kathie, take it easy. You are in TV. And you stayed up after midnight to work on it. Ohhhh, Kathie, I am impressed with that, too. I am not responsible for anything I do after midnight. If I am up that late, I have to be careful never to post.

Anyway, you did a great job. "improve" you say ??????

Kathie, Kathie, Kathie, tell me true. Were you a perfectionist in your last life? That pre-retirement life? (Oh, I know. I know. It takes one to know one.)

Boomer

Great photos Kathie! I hated to miss but we were installing a Murphy Bed and after they cancelled three times we could not change the time. It would have been a fun time with all of the Talk,s but our mess here came first. Not much fun moving a bed and furniture all the "stuff". We will make it the next time!!! Fun to see everyone!:beer3:
Thanks again for sharing the day.

debokla 02-21-2009 03:16 PM

Thanks for all the hard work of taking and posting the pictures. You did a fantastic job and we appreciate it.

Every luncheon, we meet and get to know such great people from all over. It makes it so nice to move to an unknown area and have such warm, caring people that make you feel like family right from the start. TV is fabulous!

tkret 02-21-2009 04:52 PM

It cannot be denied that the photos are terrific and, as usual, everyone seemed to be having a wonderful time enjoying each other's company and conversation. PGB looked tough in her Harley Leathers and Mr. Bob looked spiffy in that patriotic sweatshirt (I wonder where he got it?). Yeah, good job and thank you for posting. One day I may even make it to the luncheon.

katezbox 02-21-2009 05:29 PM

Hi Kathie,

The pics are great - i love that you included everyone's signon name. For those of us counting the days till we get to TV (65 for us) the slideshow is WONDERFUL!

Kate

chachacha 02-21-2009 10:12 PM

Thanks Kathie, for posting at the cost of fun and sleep, so we can all enjoy...we appreciate it...

Very nice!! I always love the pics from the lunch.

If all goes well, I will be at the next one in March.

WhooHoo!!!

scottke 02-28-2009 08:29 PM

Kathi - great pictures. Sorry we didn't stop by but our out of town guests were arriving. Hope to attend on our next trip. Back in NJ now reading the comments and seeing your terrific pictures.
