It's just a 2-point race, Clinton 38%, Trump 36%
The convention polling bumps for Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton and Republican Donald Trump are over, and they are practically even, according to a new poll of likely voters.
A Zogby Analytics survey provided to Secrets Tuesday shows: Hillary Clinton 38% Donald Trump 36% https://o.twimg.com/2/proxy.jpg?t=HB...kpDoEcWEML35mA |
From the survey linked above:
Another interesting development is over the years we have tracked voting habits among NASCAR fans and Weekly WalMart shoppers. Ten years ago these groups tended to slant conservative and Republican. That trend has been reversed during the Obama Presidency, and these consumers tend to be more liberal and supporters of Democrats today. Trump has reversed this trend. Both NASCAR fans and WalMart shoppers favor Trump over Clinton. Donald Trump is winning NASCAR fans (44% to 36%) and weekly WalMart shoppers 41% to 36%. |

If Trump has thousands turn out for his rallies, and Hillary has a hard time getting a hundred or so to show up, how does she expect to get a voter turnout in order to win in Nov? Trump is the obvious winner.

The party will end early in the evening on 8th for Trump. You can bank on it.  CNM |

8 years ago McCain was getting big loud crowds mostly like to quitter Sarah Palin. We know how that turned out. |

I prefer to wait and have the law of large numbers speak, meaning we will know on election day. Polls are not meant to be accurate only used as propaganda for those pitching their candidate. Beside its still a long way to November and anything can happen in politics

he's a new phenomenon. Not sure if McCains crowds were as large. Trump has hit I think 35,000 at times |

Your excuse for Hillary's poor rally showing is pretty pitiful. If it is an indication of a left side motivated voter turnout, then you have a lot of work cut out for your side. If Trump's large rally turnouts are indicative of voter support, then once again, the left has a lot of work to do if they wish have enough votes to win. Of course, I am not taking into consideration the past performance of the walking dead voters that use the local cemetery has their home of record. |

I want to go to a Trump rally if it's convenient especially if Palin is doing the warm-up. It's unpredictable.
Remember the Dean Scream? That hurt him badly. It was embarrassing. But compared to what you might see or hear at a Trump rally, it's nothing. Why would I want to go to a Clinton rally? I know the whole story and I know she will not be saying or doing anything remarkable or off point. Why bother? I like predictable for the person in charge. |
where do you get your info?
From a FISHING "Pole"!!!!!!!!!!

Is the political forum searchable? I used the regular search and that didn't seem to work. |
[QUOTE=Guest;1273168]Not in your bank, that's for sure. You enjoy calling conservative "right-wing zealots" but you think you are slurring them. It's a compliment, and you don't even realize it. On the other hand, liberals are socialists and that really is a slur, a truth but still a slur. Socialism is not American, therefore when someone suggests that you are a socialist, you are being compared to a soviet commie.
[/QUOTE not american, oh really, do we have to school you on all the things socialist that are already running, and running well, in the US? |

Socialism is a system of economy. To call the military a true economy is ridiculous. Voluntary enlistment and you can leave it behind you when you wish. Unlike socialism/communism in various countries of the world where you are born a slave and you will die a slave unless you are lucky enough to find a way out. In a socialist collective each person is the same. In their utopia there is no hierarchy. Is there any better example of an upwardly mobile career ladder than the US military? Exceptionalism is the norm in the US military. In socialism, as Obama envisions it of course, no one should be more remarkable than another. |

Given that the majority around here are on the right and are constantly name-calling, denigrating and displaying sexism/misogyny/sexism/racism/xenophobia/etc....your post is beyond being hypocritical. Not that you had any to begin with, but that ignorant and myopic post just completely destroyed any hope you might have harbored that you have any credibility. In spite of the supposed 600+ 'friends' you claim. ;) Now run along....before you start crying. :cryin2:  CNM |

I think that you will agree that it is because of our "socialist" themed programs that we have an ever increasing deficit. One of these days, someone in D.C. is going to suddenly wake up and realize that everyone cannot have an unearned middle class standard of living, by means of gov subsidy. Even with the mandatory payroll taxes going toward Social Security and Medicare the socialized programs can't sustain themselves. Proof of failed policies, regardless of the fault of one party or the other. Socialism is a shortcut to bankruptcy. |
